She’d called Jayden, and there had been no answer, she sighed.  She’d disappeared with Shane of all people.  She didn’t have to wonder what had happened there.

            “Hi Jenny.”  Alice said, sliding her items towards Jenny, who grinned at the site of her.

            “Hello Alice.  How are you today?”  They began exchanging pleasantries when Alice glanced over to the magazine rack.  Her jaw dropped and she fell silent.

            “Alice what is wrong?”  Jenny leaned over the counter and saw her looking at the magazine’s.  Alice snatched it up, staring at it.  The head line read.

            “Oh my GOD!  That’s Dana!”  Jenny blasted; grabbing the tabloid from Alice and reading the headline.  Alice then grabbed her magazine from the rack and another picture of Dana was on the cover and it’s headline read.

            Love – Tennis – Commitment & Life~~ Was the quote that they’d used from Dana‘s interview that Alice had done with her.

            “Oh god; oh god; oh god!”  Alice began to panic; her world began to turn dark.  Jenny moved around the counter, as Alice let herself drop to the floor. 

            “We need to call an ambulance!”  Jenny yelled as Alice passed out.

            Bette heard the phone ring; she was on the other line with an artist for the next exhibition. Then James came rushing into the office.

            “It’s Tina she says Alice is in the hospital, you’d better pick up.”

            “Tina what happened to Alice?”  She heard a breathless Tina.

            “I don’t know, Sam hasn’t had a chance to come out and tell me yet.  Can you please come down here?”  Bette‘s jealousy flashed at the thought of Sam Vance comforting Tina.  Damn it Bette, you just slept with Jayden and Shane, at the same time, why couldn’t she let Tina move on too? 

            “I’ll be there in a heart beat.”  She hung up the phone.

            “She’s fine.  It’s called an anxiety attack.”  Sam told Tina and Jenny just as Dana walked in, Jenny gave her a quick hug having been the one that had called her.  Jayden milled around, having started working at the ER today.  Sam and Jayden were still on touchy terms, but Sam knew how good a nurse she was.  She wasn’t going to say no to good help.
