Down below, Agents discuss the matter with a local officer.
“We can handle one girl.” The chief says with disdain.
“No, sir, your men are already dead.” Smith smiles. He likes this game. Trinity was always so good at playing it.
Up above, three officers burst into her hotel room. Trinity leaps six feet in the air while bullets whiz underneath her. She runs toward an officer, dressed in black and moving two hundred miles an hour—he stands no chance. She breaks his neck, turns his gun on the others, and soon they are all dead. She breaks into a sprint for the nearest exist.
Bush Square Condos, US-Central. 9:14 pm
The dark haired woman lay bathed in the glow of a dozen computer components. Eerily green, the monitor she had been working on, flashed down upon her.
Though she was sleeping awkwardly, any casual observer could see that this woman was beyond beautiful. Her lips were full and red, cheekbones delicate and high. Her hands were strong, gripping the desk even in sleep. Try as she might, she often could not relax long enough to sleep these days. Something strange was happening; something wicked was coming her way.
Perhaps the problem lay in the illegal programs that her hands covered.
The green of her monitor began to shift. Letters appeared, as though someone were typing on the very keyboard she now slept upon.
‘Wake up Bette’
‘The Matrix Has you…’
‘Follow the White Rabbit.’
Bette shot awake as though a ghost had walked over her grave. She looked terrified for just a moment, but curiosity won out in the end, as she gazed at her computer. “What the fuck? Follow a White fucking rabbit?”
Another round of illegal copying, another round of data construction, and hours of endless streams of hackers, techno junkies, and art collectors—since so many of the major works are now banned—these misfits come knocking at her door.
“come to the club tonite woman, you look like you could use some fun.” Shax and Jinx, the junkie and her insane side kick. Two of Bette’s oldest friends. Fine, she’ll join them.

ok, I haven’t seen the Matrix but I love Bette and Helena being sexy and illegal and I love any fic where they have sexual tension and then getting hot and bothered and then getting busy!! Make it so hb!
I missed out on the Matrix movies too. If they’d starred JB and RS instead of Keanu Reeves I would have been a devoted fan. This Belena story is a terrific introduction to the Matrix experience.
Well, well. Wasn’t I saying something sometime about there being situations in which one needs to fight? I have utmost confidence in Trinity’s ability to rescue Acid Burn (pretty name!) from Smith and Jones, or Smith and Adams, or whomever. I mean she had zero problem turning the tables on those nice fellows from the LAPD, those civil rights ignoring, star-fucker wannabes. So get Bette an Avenging suit (oh, PLEASE helebette, do me an Avengers with Mrs. Peel story!), preferably leather, and let the games begin!

Hello HB, wow that was a fast turn around there, this was so very very cool, this whole set up is just freakin sweet. I cannot wait to see where you go with this one, some of the ideals and concepts you can bring into it are just out of this world cool. Then again I cannot wait for you to bring in your trademark Kinetic energy to the action sequences (Wink Wink), how can one join this Cult writer thingy, I want to be a cult writer too *pouts* This is amazing, Sincerely, JC

This is one of my favorite movies. And the special effects that where preformed with the images of Bette & Helena doing them makes it a whole lot hotter! Thanks for posting!
Helebette, been following your stories for awhile and i’m quite impressed. Not only is the Matrix series one of my favorites, but you threw in an essence of Hackers which is in my top 5 fav Angelina movies. There are so many places you can go with this story, I can’t wait to read what’s next. PPS!!!
