    A B/T romantic comedy

    Maybe because they had already shared so much in the short time they had met each other Bette wasn’t sure what she was supposed to do on this first date of theirs. It seemed like they had completely inverted the usual natural course of courting and the brunette discovered that she had no plan, no list of things she should or shouldn’t do. And to make things even more confusing they still had to keep the charade up for the girls.

     

    Bette felt Tina begin a gentle stroking motion on the back of her hand; she closed her eyes momentarily, the softness of the blonde’s finger pad felt achingly sweet on her skin.

    The brunette pulled Tina’s hand on to her lap. The blonde had beautiful hands, slender, long fingered, perfectly proportioned hands. Bette felt a slight shiver run down her spine as she thought of those hands stroking down her body. She turned the blonde’s palm up and traced lines on the skin with her forefinger following every slight ridge, every elevation, committing them to memory.

     

    All of Tina’s attention was focused on Bette’s tender movement on her hand. It felt like she was being worshipped and she wondered if the brunette put that same intense focus into everything else she did. At that thought her skin erupted into goosebumps and she swallowed almost convulsively.

    She tried to concentrate on the music being played, on the musicians, on the audience but nothing could distract her from the sweet pressure of Bette’s hand on her own.

     

    So engrossed they were they didn’t even notice that the concert had finished. It was Helena’s voice that roused them.

    “The scenery is lovely I’ll give you that but I can think of better places for you guys to do what you are doing.”

    Tina blinked and looked at her friend and her girlfriend. She pondered different answers for a second then she smirked and said.

    “I’ll have to agree with you.” She turned to Bette. “Do you want to go?”

    The brunette nodded and then grinning teasingly at Helena asked.

    “Bedroom?”

    Tina felt her breath catch in her throat and it was her turn to nod silently. In her mind she was perfectly aware that Bette’s question had just been part of the act but now convincing her body of that was a different matter entirely.

Well, I started reading ” The performance of a lifetime ” last night and today I’ve caught up on all 10 chapters. I guess that says a lot about how much I enjoy this fabulous fanfic of yours, doesn’t it ? Really, this is both really fun, gripping and delightful to read. I’m loving this !     23. ONE OF THE BEST TIBETTE SCENES IN FANFIC HISTORY!!!! And believe me, you have an expert here! I’ve read a lot (a loooooot!) of Tibette fanfic, and for a long time I had been waiting for such a hot dance between B&T (Tango is one of the sexiest dances I agree). As a matter of fact, when I first heard of a Tibette dance in 512, I hoped that it would be a tango or a dance of the kind. Okay, 512 was not disappointing in the least but I must admit that you made a strong wish come true with this chapter. How fabulous, and so well done!!! Sabina, you had the greatest idea when you decided to start writing on this site. You are very talented and this fanfic is pure delight. Thanks a lot for this story, a special kuddos for this chapter, and I can’t wait for the next update and the continuation of this beautiful tale. PPS!

They were so in-sync while dancing at the bar when they first met, I just wanted it to go on and on…this topped that scene and was so well crafted. I could hear the tango music in my head as I read the story. You are truly a master. I echo others… more soon. I believe I hear the bedroom calling them.

    31. Oh good gracious alive, that was beyond hot. I could picture those two dancing to the sensual music and starting a wild fire. Better make sure that the fire can put out or at least enjoyed. I bet where ever they are headed will be left scorched from the flames that flew from their bodies.

    46. gaah… I just caught up with this story and am left speechless :o I love the storyline, life imitating fiction indeed :) tibette are meant to be, no matter the circumstances under which they meet. Bette might have thought she had the real thing with Jodie but boy is she gonna get her eyes opened by the lovely Ms Kennard *love*Hope Jodie figures out what the hell it or rather who it is that she wants before she ends up hurting Janet too… although it might already be too late for that :(
