    Dana and Shane had been told by Dr. Edwards to go home and get some rest. They wouldn’t be able to see Alice yet as it was late and she had been knocked out for the past hour from the medication they gave her for the pain. Dana didn’t want to go home, but Shane

    Dana and Shane had been told by Dr. Edwards to go home and get some rest. They wouldn’t be able to see Alice yet as it was late and she had been knocked out for the past hour from the medication they gave her for the pain. Dana didn’t want to go home, but Shane practically dragged her out of the hospital. Alice wouldn’t wake up until the next morning anyway, so there wasn’t anything Shane or Dana could do if they stayed. Eventually Dana agreed it would be a good idea for them to get some much needed sleep. Dana had been ensured that Alice was fine, and this gave Dana at least some peace of mind to leave the blonde in the hospital. She collapsed onto her bed almost straight away, and slept through the night, as did Shane.

    The next morning, Dana woke up later than she thought she would. It was 9.15am and she had arranged to meet with Shane at The Plant at 10am. She got a quick shower, grabbed some clean clothes and things for Alice and made her way to meet Shane. As she walked into The Planet, she got a strange feeling. She wearily looked around at the many people in the café, but nothing looked suspicious or out of place. She shrugged it off and made her way to Shane.

    Shane: Hey!

    Dana: Hey, Shane.

    Shane: How are you this morning?

    Dana: I’m okay, you?

    Shane: Yeah I’m good. I was thinking, do you want to see Alice on your own this morning? I’m not trying in any way to get out of seeing Al, but I understand that you two need some time alone. You weren’t even home for long yesterday before she had to go back.

    Dana: You could come for a little while, but time alone with Al would be nice.

    Shane: Okay, I’ll come for half hour or so, then I’ll leave you two, when do you want to leave?

    Dana: Well, its 10.10 now, so how about 10.30? We can be there for 11.

    Shane: That’s fine, hey, do you feel weird here?

    Dana: Weird, like what?

    Shane: I don’t know, like someone’s watching us. I don’t know, I felt it when I walked in.
