”And when she tries to make her crazies out to be some spooky artistic relationship back into her art and writing…” I had begun to lay out the plan before Bette had interrupted me again.
”That would be the art of sucking other people’s personal lives out of them like a vampire?” Bette had exhaled and crossed her arms over her chest pissed off all over again.
”How would you feel if I told you Josh bought us the entire collection of hard drives from Mark, the spying roommate. Remember him? He had cameras all over her house for months.”
Bette’s mouth had dropped open in shock. ”Oh my fucking God! We own those? He bought the video after dinner with us tonight?”
”We do. We own eight thousand hours of proof of Jenny’s cruelties, and insanity, and spying in on us. The specific ”spying on us part” Josh’s boyfriend has left out of the nasty little two minute trailer he’s edited to show at Jenny’s press conference tomorrow.”
Bette, fascinated by this strategy, had sat rapt while I had continued. ”The second Jenny starts bleating about her Sapphic revelations and epiphanies – how she only wishes more couples like poor misguided, Bev and Nina had been able to watch her movie and sidestep all the pitfalls of their relationship disaster – the second she steps over that line, and starts getting preachy and know it all about me and you she trips the wire of our last tolerance, and Josh hits play on the short, but very damning video clip. I’ve been assured it will be brutal.”
Bette looks over at me shocked. ”Jesus Christ! I like the sound of this ambush so much it truly scares me a little. And then we sail in looking fabulous and announce we getting married! I love it.”
”Bette, I have a huge day tomorrow. You have to turn out the light.”
”Dear Lord, this is too good.” I had heard her say as my bedroom fell back into darkness.
Jenny’s Press Conference – Bette – 2:45
From a distance I see Jenny gleeful at being surrounded by reporters. ”What’s her mousy assistant’s name again?” I ask Tina.
”Adele. She seems helpful so far. I’ll say this about her. She never sleeps. I get emails and bits of info from her at all hours.”

Brilliant ! I loved We-Ho but this Season 7 promises to be Fantastic! This chapter is so great – I hear Bette as I read of so clearly and Joyce what a hoot!
My favourite couple plus a great version of Joyce plus a nod to Hitchcock and Brandy – what more could I want – Answer – another Chapter please soon!

Gosh, loved that chapter. Too bad IC couldn’t come up with something similar to give us, it would have been awesome. Of course, she couldn’t really do that because Jenny was patterned after her own life, so she siad in interviews. Blackbird, you’re awesome. Thanks for posting.

Just finally caught up with your latest installment. And as promised I would leave a comment. You have always amazed me with your writing and i also like the pics.
How I wish that there was really a season 7 where Jenny didn’t die bcoz when she died in S6, the show also ended with a lot of questions most esp. if someone killed her or she must have just fall by her own doing.
Anyway, thanks for exploring this for us. I am excited for their announcement and of course I’m also looking forward for Bette’s reunion with her mom.

Ok first off I have to apologise for missing this story I don’t know why but I by passed it for some reason anyway iv spend the weekend reading it from the beginning and I didn’t want to leave a message until I was all caught up ok so here goes absolutely loved it and as it goes on it just gets better and im loving all the twists and turns and im so pleased you got to put jenny in here place lol great so im looking forward to the next chapter so pps.

There must be an easier, more logical way. Other authors have each chapter listed so one can select the story or chapter that one wishes.
