    Seventeen Reasons Why…

    Even when we were apart, I thanked you every one of the nine months I was pregnant with our daughter. Each month I knew I was part of a miracle, and it was because of living with, and loving you that I was in the right place to be able to accept Marcus’s gift to us.

    Covering her mouth, Bette tried to stifle the whimper her tears were causing. Did Tina know how much reading those words would mean to her? Tina trusted her again.

     


    Eight years…2880 days spent as your partner. 2880 nights spent as your lover.

    Feeling the car come to a stop, Bette looked up and realized they had arrived at LAX. She glanced out the window, and then down at her Blackberry….

     


    Six is easy. It’s the number of names we each got to choose when picking out baby names. Three boys and three girls, from each of us. God, how ridiculous we were! I remember the argument over your desire for Oscar, because of your penchant for Oscar Wilde’s poetry, when all I could think of was the cookie monster. You were mad and hurt for week because of my insensitivity.

    6. Because, now we know life is too short, love is too rare to test it by fighting over something that in the end, doesn’t even belong to us anyway.

     


    Bette was startled out of her reverie as the back door opened, the cab driver standing on the curb with her suitcase next to him. "That will be $36.80."

    9. Aww. My favorite too. I wish I could have seen something this compelling on the show. This was sweet..and when I breathed in at the end I realized it actually made me choke up. Thats some talent.

They are breath taking and are exactly how Tina feels about what has happened between the two of them. Oscar is not a favorite name of mine but is sounds wonderful as one of Bette and Tina’s children of the future. Keep posting, please.

To be “inspired” can be one of the strongest forces as a writer. There are writer’s, and then there are WRITER’S. Without a doubt, you are the latter.     47. This too was my favorite followed very closely by your nc-17….Your writing captures true emotions. The way you express each characters feelings are amazing. Having Tina use special days in history and in their life’s was a work of a genius. And the scene at the end was perfect. I’m so glad that you chose to participate, I hope that you will continue writing after this and that your writer’s block is GONE!
