    12. Because, oh how much richer my life would be today if I had listened to a jury of my peers to help draw my conclusions, instead of shutting them all out, and seeking only my own counsel…warped as it was.


     

    ‘Oh how I wish you had too,’ Bette thought to herself as she started to read the next message that was already flashing on her screen.

     


    At first glance I think of eleven as representing us in silhouette. The two of us standing together. However, I realized this vision is flawed, because the two ones in the number eleven actually face away from each other with one in front of the other. Eleven is said to be a master number which represents sin, transgression and peril. It’s the first to stand above the perfect number ten. Two souls who move as one but both see different views. And, it is not until it is challenged do these different views become exposed, cracking it right down the middle. Maybe the number eleven really does represent the two of us? But, remember, it is also called the Light-Bearer and represents the light within us all.

    11. Because, we have always been the perfect example of oppositions, able to find the balance needed in order to achieve synthesis.


     

    Bette shook her head, her smile playing on her lips, always loving the way Tina’s mind worked. She was so much smarter than anyone, including Bette sometimes ever gave her credit for.

What feats against man and nature have these people carried out, that would land their names and pictures on posters hanging in every post office and police station throughout the country?     10. Because, I would pay any reward, no matter what the price to know that I have paid my debt to you, and to have my loved recognized again.

     

    Bette thought of all that Tina had gone through these last months…how isolated she had become, mostly not by choice, but because their friends had clearly landed on Bette’s side this time around.

    9. Aww. My favorite too. I wish I could have seen something this compelling on the show. This was sweet..and when I breathed in at the end I realized it actually made me choke up. Thats some talent.

Actually, with all the vibrations emminating from Bette’s Blackberry, it was a different pop song that popped to mind: Michael Jackson (his voice never really did change, did it? with his 4 brothers on “Never Can Say Goodbye”Ev’ry time I think I’ve had enough and start heading for the door There’s very strange vibrations, piercing me right to the core It says turn around you fool you know you love her more and more Tell me why is it so? Don’t wanna let you go I never can say goodbye girl (never can say goodbye, girl)I’ve had a VERY long day, I’ll read the others tomorrow.

    17. Absolutely loved it. Spent most of yesterday reading “if its meant to be” instead of doing the housework! A much better way to spend the day if you ask me. You are way up there with the best!Keep posting.

    36. You are right this is the best one because my Tibette heart is full of joy and happiness. How did you come up with 17 insightful reasons for Bette to go back to Tina? They are breath taking and are exactly how Tina feels about what has happened between the two of them. Oscar is not a favorite name of mine but is sounds wonderful as one of Bette and Tina’s children of the future. Keep posting, please.

To be “inspired” can be one of the strongest forces as a writer. There are writer’s, and then there are WRITER’S. Without a doubt, you are the latter.     47. This too was my favorite followed very closely by your nc-17….Your writing captures true emotions. The way you express each characters feelings are amazing. Having Tina use special days in history and in their life’s was a work of a genius. And the scene at the end was perfect. I’m so glad that you chose to participate, I hope that you will continue writing after this and that your writer’s block is GONE!
