To Live Without You (Chapter 14)
"Wear those jeans and those shoes you’ll look great and he won’t care what you’re wearing because he’ll be imagining you naked all night." Alice chuckled throwing on the suggested items then looking in the mirror.
"Damn you’re good Shane," the hairstylist shrugged guiding Alice out of the door.
"I know, you really don’t need to tell me that when everybody else does." Alice laughed as she grabbed her coat before being pushed
out of the door.
They arrived at the Green house an hour before Alice was supposed to pick Cliff up from his home. The writer paced the the house nervously as guests arrived, Tina and Bette smiled as they saw how Alice strived to make sure everything was perfect.
"Alice, hey the place looks wonderful." Tina hugged the writer as they looked around further, green blue and grey Seahawks colors for everything. The writer grinned turning around to assess all the work that had been done, mixed drinks in blue and green as well as the plates for the barbeque in the back that was handled by one Cliff’s best friends, everybody who entered got a streak of blue green or grey under their eyes like the football players on television although Alice wasn’t really sure why they did it. Carmen was spinning outside by the grill and had people dancing sober, which was impressive by Alice’s standards The writer finally relaxed and looked at her watch,
‘Fifteen minutes until…’ Just as Alice was guessing how long it would take her to get there and back Dana walked through the door, She wore a blue fitted Seahawks jersey and snug jeans. Bette and Tina watched the exchange between the two as the athlete spotted Alice from the door, Tina leaned in the whisper to the writer.
"Did something happen with you and Dana?" Alice glanced a Tina who waved to Dana, the athlete leading Victoria in by the waist. Alice was a little disappointed Dana hadn’t come alone,
’You’re throwing an anniversary party for your boyfriend hoping that your ex-girlfriend would come alone, that’s real selfless Alice.’ The writer shook her head to Tina,
"Nothing is going on, we’re great…everything is great." She stared at Dana watching her guide Victoria by the small of her back, the writer felt a twang of jealousy, shaking it off and laughing to herself as Dana approached.

I was so happy to see your update. Dana’s in a bit of a downward spiral. Will Alice be the one to save her? Update soon. I can’t wait to see what Alice says.
ClosetDana, you are so entertaining. Slo-mo Dana, lol. “you let that out and your house, your whole block, will be burned to the ground” that comment stuck with me. The visual you gave me of Alice against the wall with her mouth open in orgasm… shouldn’t be Cliff though.I’m sure Alice wouldn’t have to direct Dana on what to do or how to do it.Man… Dana better get that head on straight, that pill-popping, beer-drinking woman is going to find herself in a whole lot of trouble. Those two need to tackle each other and show us some real action, if you know what I mean. NOOOOO… don’t move in with him!!! What are you doing to me??? I hope you have something satisfying coming up cause you don’t want to see me cry… trust me, you don’t. Want the Gena/Vic hookup. Make me proud darlin!
Whoo-hooo…I get to comment under my other great Danish writer (besides Master layla), I find both you gals writing amazing, am so happy to be able to read your fics…brteyes, love your stuff. I was so sad to see that Dana is hurting, but it feels good to see this side cause IMHO I always found that it was Alice who had shown the most pain in their break-up. Dana was sorta shallow in S3 and that wasn’t how I saw them in S1-2, I needed to see Dane downward spiral as well. If I haven’t said it mate, bloody awesome job. Cheers…
I love updates. I must say that you are quite the impressive writer. I really enjoy your fics. This one really has me hooked. I admit that I have been known to yell at the computer while reading it. Alice and Dana get so close and then…BAM! something happens and more drama ensues. It is definitely an interesting piece. I’m worried about Dana, and hope that she can get on the right track…with the help of Alice of course. I can’t wait to read more. Please update soon.Pheww! All done. I promise, no more drive bys…or um…read and runs without comments. Keep up the great writing.
DANA – stop the drugs. actually i don’t mind dana on drugs as long as she’s ALIVE. i love this story. post soon.
you just love doing the chiffhangers but I love it please post soon and who will save dana I think that only alice can help her great post
i just caught up with this story and i luv it : )
Another great update. I’m sure Alice will be the one to “save” Dana from the drugs and from Victoria. They just belong together. Love this story, looking forward for what’s in store.
Oh damn, they were so close… Drama, that’s what you writers love…and thats what gets me hooked. :) I hope Victoria will talk to Dana about her drugproblem… Btw, I really liked the (minor) interaction between Alice and Dana, a bit jealous…weren’t they? :) And to answer the question, was it a good thing or a bad hing that Shane erased the message. Maybe it’s good thing that they spent time apart and than on the other hand maybe they would live happily ever after (I know, in real life that doesn’t happen and your story is much more realistic :D).Oh well, we will never know. ;)
