    “If you’ll call before you get here, I’ll have breakfast ready” Tina offered.

     

    “I’m not gonna wake you up til I get there babe.”

     

    “Suit yourself, I’ll probably get up anyway.”

     

    “I’ll see you soon sweetie.”

     

    “Can’t wait.  Drive careful, love you.”  They hung up.

     

     

     

    Bette arrived in good time to Tina’s, and as she had said Tina was awake and preparing breakfast.  They ate and then cuddled on the couch, enjoying the quiet of the morning.  They found the hotel hosting the conference and then took an afternoon nap.  The evening was spent watching tv and visiting with Jennifer and Laurel.

     

    In the mornings, Bette left early for meetings after Tina made sure she was fed.  They met for lunch every day then Tina would go to work.  In the afternoon, Bette would jog in the park and workout in a gym near their apartment.  Bette would take dinner to Tina, so they enjoyed all three meals together daily.  And every night was filled with passionate lovemaking.  Bette and Tina were never happier.

     

    On Wednesday morning after Bette had left, Tina was in the kitchen with Jen and Laurel.  They were in their usual routine, drinking coffee, reading the paper, making small talk.

     

    “You know Tina, I never knew you were so religious.” Laurel commented to her.  Jennifer was at the fridge, trying not to laugh.

     

    Tina raised her eyebrow at her in question.

     

    “Well the last three nights, we’ve heard you saying your prayers.”  Laurel paused for effect.  “At least that’s what I thought you were doing.  Oh God, Oh God, Oh my Goddddddddd.”

     

    Jennifer and Laurel burst out laughing as Tina turned a lovely shade of red.

     

    Jen went up and hugged her.  “You know we love you.  But do we have to hear it every night?” she continued to goad her.

     

    “We’ve just really missed each other” Tina stammered.

     

    “I know, I guess it’s payback for Laurel being so vocal sometimes, huh?”

     

    “Me?  No, you!” Laurel exclaimed as the good natured ribbing went on.

     

     

     

    Friday night, the girls all decided to go out dancing.  They met up with Val and Leann at their local hangout.  The drinking began.  Bette designated herself to be the driver for everyone since she didn’t drink anyway.  Tina, on the other hand, was starting to get a buzz.  The music changed from techno to a slow song and Bette got up.  She offered her hand to Tina, “Dance with me?”

    7. Hey idw! Great chapter, thanks! Nice to see how they adjust so easily to each other city and routine, because of their fulfilment to simply being together. I’ve known of cases where love is sometimes not enough… Those two are really meant for each other! Interesting that Bette is so much in control, but let anyone put one single finger on her T, and the lover will definitely turn into an uncontrolable fighter!!!

    11. Love the storoy, just lhappiness and lots of love between them, a little bit of drama but nothing overwhelming. Just great, showiwng normal lives, happy and in love. Love this story. thanks very much for it. post again soon.
