    It’s the alcohol. -Bette Porter

     

    The drinking and dancing continued and they stayed to close the bar down.  Bette made sure everyone got home ok. 

     

     

     

    She and Tina were in Tina’s room, getting ready for bed.  Tina started kissing her and leading her towards the bed.  She was starting to unbutton Bette’s shirt when Bette stopped her. 

     

    “T, you don’t think I would try to take advantage of you in your intoxicated state do you?”

     

    “No, certainly not.”  Pause.  “That’s exactly why I’m trying to take advantage of you, in my intoxicated state” Tina replied, explaining her behavior.

     

    Bette laughed.  “You are too much.  But all mine, come here.”  Bette pulled Tina close and kissed her deeply, with the passion and desire shared by two people so much in love.

     

    They separated a couple minutes later.  Tina stepped back a little uncertain as she moved her head in a circle.  “Wow, that was some kiss.  My head is spinning.”

     

    “I’d love to think it was just me that made you feel that way.  But I’m sure the alcohol had more to do with it than I did.”

     

    “Baby?”

     

    “Huh?”

     

    “Shut up and take me to bed” Tina gave the instructions.

     

    “Yes dear.” 

     

    Bette moved close and took Tina into her embrace.  She kissed her as she negotiated their way back to the bed.  Bette undressed her and gently laid her down.  She quickly removed her own clothes and joined her. 

     

     

     

    Tina woke the next morning with a hangover, not an incapacitating one, but a hangover none the less.  Bette was sympathetic and understanding; she took care of her.  She brought her aspirin, coffee and toast in bed and threw an extra blanket over the window to block the sun’s entry into the room.  Then she climbed back in bed and snuggled up with her.  

     

    “Thanks baby.  I don’t deserve you” Tina spoke to her.

     

    “That’s what I’m constantly telling myself where you’re concerned.”

     

    “I love you.”

     

    “And I love you sweetheart.  More than I ever thought possible.”

     

    They spent the rest of the weekend together in a state of bliss.  Neither of them had ever been happier.

    7. Hey idw! Great chapter, thanks! Nice to see how they adjust so easily to each other city and routine, because of their fulfilment to simply being together. I’ve known of cases where love is sometimes not enough… Those two are really meant for each other! Interesting that Bette is so much in control, but let anyone put one single finger on her T, and the lover will definitely turn into an uncontrolable fighter!!!

    11. Love the storoy, just lhappiness and lots of love between them, a little bit of drama but nothing overwhelming. Just great, showiwng normal lives, happy and in love. Love this story. thanks very much for it. post again soon.
