    “I met Alice about six years ago when she was researching for an article on the top ten eateries in West Hollywood. She selected the Planet and it just so happens that a good friend of mine Marina Ferrer owns it. Marina recommended that Alice talk to me since I ate almost all my meals there or had take-out. At least I did until you guys started feeding me your home cooking.”

    “Ah we love having you over for dinner. I think you’ve picked up some culinary skills since you started hanging out with us.” Tina was teasing but Bette had actually learned a thing or two about cooking from them.

    “I have actually. I’m starting to recognize the uses for the half the fancy gadgets I have in my state of the art kitchen and finally getting some use out of it. Marina isn’t going to appreciate losing my business so you guys must allow me to take you there for lunch or dinner some time. It’s not far from the gallery. Alice, James, Lisa and I have Sunday brunch there every week. I know it’s a bit of a drive to West Hollywood from here but the food is worth it and I think you’ll enjoy the company too. You’re both welcome to join us anytime.”

    “Sounds good to me. I’ll drive a few miles for a good meal and good company. So what happened when you met Alice?”

    Valerie was enjoying that Bette was opening up to them.

    “Well I was just one of several regulars that she interviewed. I gave the Planet a five star rating for food, and service but the best thing about the establishment is the friendliness, professional staff and the ambiance. I enjoyed taking to Alice so after the interview I asked her to stay for dinner. She wasn’t my usual type if I can claim to have a type but there was something about her that attracted me. She was so quirky and talkative. I loved her adventurous spirit. She’s got a great sense of humor but she uses humor to cover her insecurities. We dated for about six weeks then we both agreed it wasn’t going anywhere romantically. We broke up but we really liked each other so we’ve remained friends ever since. I guess you could say she is my best friend next to James.”

Loved this Chapter!..Feel sorry for Bette though..So Val’s crush is Bette but Tina seems to be into Bette as well but they are wanting different things at this point..*sigh*..I see Helena pursuing Tina relentlessly and of course can’t wait for a little Danish time..*sigh*..I’ll take whatever I can get ; )

    2. Great chapter. I think Bette will resent Helena and her ambitions, both professional and personal. Tina will get romantically involved with Helena but realize that she is really attracted to Bette but too scared to establish a committed relationship w/Bette.

    3. I liked this chapter. I was glad that Bette and Tina began to open up to Val.
      So Tina is not monogamous? Hmm, this is interesting :D
      so I don’t want to be Tina and Helena together.. They were so awful together. Both took advantage of the other ….
      I look forward to the next chapter.

Another great chapter I believe Helena is going to do all she can to pursue Tina only because Peggy wanting Bette to pursue her and I have to admit to not liking how Peggy treats Bette like her daughter in front of Helena you can see Helena hating Bette before she even meets her and this has all come about from how Peggy talks about her pps.

    8. I liked the conversation between them each positioning itself as
      the question of how each wants a relationship, and Bette
      make it clear that will not mix work with emotional involvement.
      The fact tina not be monogamous and not found love
      real what is in front of her (Bette) will certainly want to be
      monogamous (This was my side TiBette made ​​me write this)
