What Now? Chapter: 6 – Anger Management

    –

As soon as she hung up, Dana regretted what shed done. Why did she do that? So ***** stupid! Now Alice was angry with her for sure. She knew that much about the blonde to know there was no way shed ever call her up after that. One of the things Alice hated most was when people hung up on her. Couldnt she just have accepted her girlfriends apology and just let it go? Dana thought, cursing herself. She could have, but Dana realized she did not really want to at the time. She thought Alice had let her down outside the restaurant when she insisted on giving Helena Peabody a ride home, putting a sudden and unwelcome end to their romantic date. And then not calling her to be picked up. But the more Dana thought about it the sillier it seemed. Alice was just Alice. She could not help but being concerned for other people. That was one of the many things that made Alice so very attractive in the tennis players eyes. And was it really something to be upset about? No. Not really, no. It seemed so pitiful now Dana felt ashamed she had even reacted. Just half an hour after the phone call Dana was on her way over to her girlfriends apartment.

When she heard the pounding on the door Alice instantly knew who it was. She had been lying on the couch sulking, listening to angry South Park music. But the longer she sulked; the anger almost disappeared and was replaced by a distinct feeling of worry. She began to wonder if Dana was very angry with her. She seemed to be. Otherwise she would not have hung up on her. Dana knew just how much Alice hated that, so she must be seriously upset with her to do something like that. Just as Alice was about to swallow her pride and actually call the brunette again she heard the knock. The journalist rushed from the sofa to her front door in a split second, almost causing herself serious injury violently bumping in to the doorframe.

Ow! *****! Alice cursed loudly and ripped the door open. She rubbed her upper arm and glared at her girlfriend a lot less pleasant then she intended to. Dana looked a little taken aback with the greeting she got. Alice must be really pissed with her judging the way she looked.

    1. I just drop quick line. I’m really enjoying story and characterization of Helena. I began to like her a little bit towards the end when she wasn’t with Tina. Definite issues to be delved into.
