Alice was musing when her phone started vibrating.  The noise of it dancing on the table brought her back.  Picking up her phone she sees Helena’s name flash up.  “Yes” she says before quickly answering.

It didn’t take Alice long to get down to the heart of her inquiry.  While Helena was a friend she seemed to be distracted with something or someone else and was only returning Alice’s call out of friendship.  Always curious Alice can’t just help herself.  She starts asking who Helena is with.  Helena quickly brought the subject back to why Alice had called in the first place.  “Alice just what can I do for you.”

“Oh yeah.  I want to know if you have any contact or know how to contact a Tina Kennard.  I think she is involved in films in New York.”

Helena hesitates for a moment before replying, “Yes I’ve worked with her.” Helena admits.  Then elaborates, “She has developed some of the films we have produced.  Why?” 

Alice thinking quickly realizes Helena may be a friend but she wasn’t going to go into the whole long story of Bette and Tina.  Besides it was a saga of West Hollywood lore.  No, she just needed to get the information.  “It’s just I need to talk with her and I seem to have lost touch and something’s come up.  You know how it is.”

“Sure Alice give me a minute.” Alice can hear Helena shifting through something.  It takes a few moments and then she returns.  “Alice the only number I can find is her work number.  Do you want it?” 

“Oh.. Oh hell yes I want it.  Pass it over sweet MAMA.” Alice’s excitement busting through as she speaks.

Chuckling at Alice’s antics, “Well first you’ve got to promise me I’m not your sweet Mama and I’ll give it to you.”

“Oh come on.  Hell where’s your sense of humor.” Alice whines.

“Here it is. Alice honey just pulling your chain.”  With that Helena gives Alice the number.  “When you talk to her say hello for me.  She’s one of those Ice Maidens I have on the back burner waiting for her to thaw out a bit.  Beautiful woman, definitely one to be looked after.”
