    Chapter 54

     

    Chapter 54

     

    “BeJesus Bette.  For Christ sake could you teach these kids that come over how to park?  You’ve got someone taking the whole damn driveway.  My “precious” is sticking half way out in the street.  If it gets hit by a someone passing by I’m going to have the head of one of your kids.”

     

    Alice screams stomping her way into the house.  She makes her way in then looks around.  Not seeing anyone, Bette in particular, she rounds the corner to head towards Bette’s bedroom. 

     

    “If something happens to my pretty car ….” Alice stops mid sentence almost tripping over her own feet at the sight before her.

     

    Bette and Tina faces are turned towards Alice listening to Alice’s diatribe.  But their bodies were still facing each other.  Bette still had her hands tightly grasping the door frame but Tina no longer had that charging bull stance.  Now she almost wore a sheepish look as if waiting for the inevitable flash of recognition that would come anytime now.

     

    Alice was caught up in her initial shock.  She came to a dead stop but the ever quick reporter recovered quickly to launch herself in Tina’s direction.

     

    “T—I—N—-A” she screeched as she ran past Bette, tearing aside Bette’s grasp to get to Tina. 

     

    Tina could do nothing but brace herself for Alice’s bear hug which squeezes her so hard she pushed any air in Tina’s lungs out.  “Humph”.

     

    Alice lets her joy at seeing Tina again after all these years bubble over.  Still holding Tina in a tight embrace, Alice started jumping up and down taking Tina with her in a makeshift happy dance.  While the two bounced their way around the room Alice continued her non-stop chatter.

     

    “Tina … Tina … Tina.  It’s so good to see you, you look so good.  Oh My God girlfriend, you can’t imagine all that I have to catch you up on.  What makes you think you can go away for that long and expect me to remember all the details but I’ll try my best.  Jeezum Tina, you look good, time has been really good to you.  And after having a baby and all Tina you’re something else.  But you’re not going to believe all that’s gone on around here.  Bette, well of course you’ll want to know all about Bette, and then there’s Shane.  She met her match in Carmen but that’s a long story and you’ve got to know about my book.  I’m sure it made it to the east coast, but if not I’ll tell you all about it.  You know being on the New York bestseller list is not an easy task but you probably know that already.”

Poor Angie, she through that she had made so of the best friends anf met the most loving people and coe to find out they knes her Mom, The one that she cared for the most was once her Mom partner. Bette is taking all the blame. Bette heart is breaking. Still have plenty of duct tape left for Alice.Merry Christmas

I can picture Alice grumbling while waling into the house and the stopping, shocked at seeing Alice and I almost got dizzie from the happy dance of Alice and Tina; not to mention all the talking while dancing. I’m loving the shock that is Angelica. Oooh, only if she knew the full story of Bette and Tina. Great, wonderful; Thank you. Merry Christmas.

    7. I haven’t commented before – been too busy soaking up every chapter that has come along. However, I couldn’t let this festive season pass without telling you how amazing this story is and at the risk of sounding very greedy (and knowing that you’ve probably got lots else on) – begging you to get them to a happy place before Christmas!     8. You have me on the edge of my seat with this. Please let the truth be told finally. I do hope you’ll be able to calm them down enough for Tina to see Bette is still in love with her. Bette cheated death once already, now let her enjoy the family she’s always wanted. Wonderful story!!! PPS

    10. Damn, Jwet, you got this one out early! So NOW Tina wants to get some perspective! Let’s hope she means it, cause with the cat out of the bag and Alice on the seen, she’s going to get it whether or not she wants. They may have to forget reaming Alice for the moment. But I once say a boxing matching where one guy broke another guy’s jaw with a dance like Alice did with Tina.

Angelica will see thourgh it all, she wont be as emotional and angry as Tee and she will see that she doesn’t know the full story. Only the story of love that started with an earring. she shouldn’t be jealous, she had thoughts about hooking Tee and Bette up before hand so, why not now, they already know eachother, and Bette loves Tee so why not get them to fall back in love. A late late late christmas eve gift?! *waits hopefully*
