    Chapter 54

     

    Alice startled from her focus on Tina whipped around to see Angelica for the first time.  “Oh hey there squirt.  You said a mouthful.  Of course I’m right.”  Turning back to Tina, “You heard her.  You can’t leave until we’ve all spend some time catching up.  I mean I have so much to catch you up on.”

     

    To this Tina holds out her hand trying to hold Alice off.  At best trying to prevent her from going into her diatribe once again.  “Hold it a minute Alice.  We have a little time here, Angelica has to get her stuff together lets go out to the kitchen and have a cup of coffee.  We can catch up.” Tina offered trying to move things along without unduly upsetting Alice.

     

    Alice seems to fall for this and is nodding her head when Angelica speaks up again.  “Wait Alice, how do you know my Mom?”

     

    This seems to surprise Alice, “You don’t know?”  Turning to Tina, “You haven’t told her?”

     

    Tina stammers, “Ah … we haven’t had a chance to speak yet.”

     

    Taking Tina’s response to be a personal invitation to fill Angelica in Alice jumps in, “Well then” turning around to Angelica, “You mean they haven’t told you how your Mom here was the Ying to Bette’s Yang, the hand that fit Bette’s glove, the dragon slayer who lit Bette’s fire, the only one to bump ugly with Bette and still be around the next morning to talk about it, the grand conqueror who took the biggest player in all of West Hollywood off the market, the angel who tamed the untamable and got tapped herself in the process, the only one who could rock Bette’s world making her the ultimate booty call that whipped the monkey.  You mean you don’t know who your Mom is?  She’s a legend around these parts.”

     

    “Alice!”

     

    “Alice!”

     

    This scream could be heard from both Tina and Bette at the same time hoping to put an end to Alice’s fanciful conversation.  But it was Bette’s scream that caught Alice’s attention.  Alice knew from personal experience that Bette’s bark WAS as bad as her bite.  Bette moved forward into the room looking at Alice for a moment she then turning to Tina who had her eyes on Angelica.  Following Tina’s stare Bette too turns towards Angelica, who seemed shell shocked by the continual series of events this morning.  In an effort to stabilize any firm ground she had left with Angelica, Bette moved to the side of the bed and sat down.  Angelica who had been listening to Alice with growing alarm now was shocked and it showed.  She looked at Bette with large eyes that showed her disbelief.

Poor Angie, she through that she had made so of the best friends anf met the most loving people and coe to find out they knes her Mom, The one that she cared for the most was once her Mom partner. Bette is taking all the blame. Bette heart is breaking. Still have plenty of duct tape left for Alice.Merry Christmas

I can picture Alice grumbling while waling into the house and the stopping, shocked at seeing Alice and I almost got dizzie from the happy dance of Alice and Tina; not to mention all the talking while dancing. I’m loving the shock that is Angelica. Oooh, only if she knew the full story of Bette and Tina. Great, wonderful; Thank you. Merry Christmas.

    6. this just gets better! please, please, please post the rest and the sequel after that!! i can’t wait for an eventual conversation just between bette and tina!

    7. I haven’t commented before – been too busy soaking up every chapter that has come along. However, I couldn’t let this festive season pass without telling you how amazing this story is and at the risk of sounding very greedy (and knowing that you’ve probably got lots else on) – begging you to get them to a happy place before Christmas!     8. You have me on the edge of my seat with this. Please let the truth be told finally. I do hope you’ll be able to calm them down enough for Tina to see Bette is still in love with her. Bette cheated death once already, now let her enjoy the family she’s always wanted. Wonderful story!!! PPS

    10. Damn, Jwet, you got this one out early! So NOW Tina wants to get some perspective! Let’s hope she means it, cause with the cat out of the bag and Alice on the seen, she’s going to get it whether or not she wants. They may have to forget reaming Alice for the moment. But I once say a boxing matching where one guy broke another guy’s jaw with a dance like Alice did with Tina.

    14. “It will give us the time to take a step back and get some perspective.”…if only she had done that 16 years ago…i know she was hurt but what she did by running away was drastic…imo as worse as the affair.

    15. Why does Alice talking about her car sound just like Gollum talking about The One Ring? Is her car the ultimate symbol of evil? What’s she driving, anyway?

Angelica will see thourgh it all, she wont be as emotional and angry as Tee and she will see that she doesn’t know the full story. Only the story of love that started with an earring. she shouldn’t be jealous, she had thoughts about hooking Tee and Bette up before hand so, why not now, they already know eachother, and Bette loves Tee so why not get them to fall back in love. A late late late christmas eve gift?! *waits hopefully*
