Window of Opportunity ch. 64
Window of Opportunity
Chapter 64
Bette
I had no idea that I was that tired but I fell asleep I think before we even took off. I had wanted to sit and talk to Tina on the trip about things she may be interested in doing or even how she was coping with Angie’s outburst and saying goodbye to her parents but it wasn’t in the cards. I was tired and even as much as I loved Tina, that wasn’t enough to keep me awake. I finally woke up as she kissed me sweetly during our descent into JFK airport. I was a little disoriented but quickly realized that our little journey was over and some fun could begin for us. I wanted to take her to bed and make love to her over and over again without the thought of being caught but the plans that I had made would not allow that to immediately happen. It was ok though, there was more than enough time for that.
Since we only had our carryon bags, it didn’t take long for us to exit the plane and make our way to the outside where there was a car waiting for us. When I realized that it was going to be possible to take a few days in New York, my first call was to Helena who offered the use of her penthouse apartment and her driver. I took her up on the driver but passed on the penthouse apartment. I believe that she and Tina had made a trip to New York while they were dating and nothing would kill the mood for me more than to make love with Tina in a bed that she had shared with Helena. I, of course did not tell Helena that, but did tell her that I wanted something a little more intimate for us during this time but that her generosity was greatly appreciated. We’ve come a long way but not quite that far.
I had chosen the Four Seasons because of the amenities that they provided and the breathtaking views that the room had and the close proximity to wonderful dining and shopping. I had stayed there before but it was not our typical hotel when we used to come to New York. I had no doubts that she would enjoy our time there. I had reserved one of the two Presidential Suites. At 1,500 sq. feet, it was more than we would need but it was for Tina and for her, all the luxuries in the world weren’t sufficient.

I see some are still interested in the grits. Hey, in Hawaii they serve rice for breakfast at McDonalds. This is an exquisite story. It brings together family, friends and the joys of having both in their lives. Finally it is summer and of course that means the scorching heat.
Continued wishes for a full nights sleep for you and I just love this story. PPS:)
NAG, you are absolutely incredible and this is one amazing story! It is as good at chapter 64 as it was at chapter 1. I really enjoy everything about this story and I’m so glad that you will be continuing it and not ending it abruptly. Can’t wait for your next installment!
Hi Nag, so glad your haveing a good time with little G. He’s so lucky to have you, Your a beautiful person outside and in. Everything toby4ever said plus I love how you put the names and places together so well, do I have to go see if there are really places in NYC, like Faces, cause that was fun. I knew you would never end this or anything abruptly. Sorry it’s so hot there but you know, thats how it is in the south. Take care my friend and Thank you. Md
** Sigh ** Sooooo romantic! Welcome back Newy – and a wonderful update! Hope you are enjoying the summer break with the little one. Looking forward to the next part…
I see Bette is in full romantic, grand gestures mode again. She’s right. Tina has always been the strong one in their relationship and when Bette relaxes and allows Tina to take control every now and then, they are happier, more at peace and secure about the future of their relationship. Thank you for this update, NAG. Hope you’ll find time to chill in the midst of the scorching heat. :>
This story is so wonderful and Beautiful. The way you write is amazing. Thank you

Yet another beautiful chapter to add to all the others, hope your baby sleeps through the night and sorry it is so hot there. Please post a new chapter soon.
Great chapter, so loving together and Bette’s letter was the highlight of the chapter, so beautiful and loving. Happy to see little G sleeping a little better for you. I cook grits all the time and I will send Rau direction for making grits. I live in Texas and my paternal family is from Louisiana so I’ve had them all my life. They’re easy to make and I love them, my children hate them. Get some rest and post when you can. Still loving the story and I just told some friends about the story. BTW everyone, L Word Season 1 will start on Logo channel June 26 at 10:00 pm.
