    Window of Opportunity ch. 64

“No Tina. I would hope you would wear it up because you love me not because you think that you can get information out of me.” When we teased one another, it made me horny as hell and tonight was not the time for that. We had to get out of here if we were going to make it on time and I hated to feel rushed when we had just had so much relaxation. This was worth it though and I knew that it was not going to be like this the whole time we were here. “Come on T, we have to go if we’re going to be on time.”

She looked beautiful and there was no denying that as time passed, she got more beautiful. Her confidence and security in our relationship made her so sexy to me. She took my hand as we waited for the elevator to take us downstairs and when it opened, I pulled her into my arms and just held her until we reached the ground floor. Marc, the driver was waiting as I knew he would be since he had our itinerary.

Our first stop was The Museum of Modern Art or MoMA. What I had thought was my dream job offer came from them when Tina and I were apart but being that far away from her was not something that I could even envision and I had turned it down. As wonderful an opportunity that I’m sure it would have been, my life today does not even allow me to compare the two. Marc let us out and we stood on the steps with her looking at me and waiting for an answer as to why we were here.

“I don’t think that I ever told you that I was offered a job here as the curator.”

“For MoMA? Bette, that’s incredible. When?”

“About a year after Angie was born. They heard that I still wasn’t working as a curator anywhere and called me to ask me to come out. I flew out, they wined and dined me and I was offered the job while here. I was shocked. I had thought that all that had happened at CAC would prevent me from some big jobs until I had proven myself again but they wanted me.” I was not sad that I had not taken the job but I was sad that so much time had passed before I was having this conversation with Tina.

They’re easy to make and I love them, my children hate them. Get some rest and post when you can. Still loving the story and I just told some friends about the story.
