“She has not regained any of her memory and to be honest I don’t know if she ever will. Have you told her wife that you have found her?”
“No, my daughter Helena is waiting to hear from me tonight. I wanted to talk with you and hopefully develop a plan to bring Tina over. How do you think this will affect Bette? Obviously she didn’t recognize me but she will recognize Tina as the woman in her paintings.”
“Did you bring any pictures of Jennifer…oh I guess I should start thinking of her as Bette. Do you have any pictures of Bette with her family?”
“Yes, I brought a complete file on Bette. I have pictures of her gallery, her home, and of course several pictures of her and her family.”
Dr. Roberts took a deep breath, “then I think we should share this with Bette tomorrow. It will be a shock but with the pictures you have brought we should be able to convince her that she is Bette Porter.”
Dr. Roberts and Peggy decided it was time to eat. They continued to talk and discuss their plans for tomorrow. Before Dr. Roberts left, Peggy called Helena. It was decided that Helena would talk with Kit tonight and Tina in the morning. Helena wanted Kit there for support. They would then board the Peabody jet and fly to Ecuador. By this time tomorrow, the Bette and Tina would be reunited.
Back in California, Helena decided to make a personal visit to Kit. She called Kit and asked if she could come over. On the drive to Kit’s, she rehearsed her speech. She had talked it over with her mother and it had been decided that she and Tina would fly to Ecuador tomorrow. She was hoping Kit would keep Angelica and then fly down this weekend with her. They thought it would be better for all concerned if Tina and Bette had some time to get to know one another before everyone else showed up.
Helena knocked on Kit’s door. Kit opened it with a smile. “Hey girl, come on in. What brings you out tonight?”
Helena took a deep breath. “We better sit down for this Kit.”

I can’t wait either for Bette’s conversation with Peggy and Dr. Roberts. Tina will want to get there as fast as she can to her lost love.

This is a fantastic story. Just caught up with the chapters and I love the story. Hopefully when they see each other again hopefully it will trigger Bette’s memory when Bette hears that lovely southern drawl of Tinas that she loves to hear so much. And I think if they brought Angie along also and Angie yrlled Momma to Bette it would also trigger some memories for Bette. She obviously has them embedded in her heart as well deeply in her memory. Seeing and hearing them will bring her memory back. At anyrate I am so glad they are making plans to bring her back home to her family and friends. Love this story. Thanks for posting.
