“So we get to do the best man speech, don’t know why because wow we have missed nothing in their full relationship” Mark smirked

“God help us” Jess mumbled

“So taking you on this journey… Carmen had such a crush on Jess it wasn’t even remotely funny, she use to follow her about school like a lost puppy”

“Eventually she plucked up the courage and finally spoke to Jess after Jess got sick, we were all out for my birthday and Jess decided to break the silence between them and luckily Carmen responded”

Everyone laughed

“They’re making me sound like an idiot” Carmen whispered to Jess “I totally wasn’t scared to talk to you”

“But what Carmen didn’t know was Jess also had a major crush on her” Jace smirked

Carmen looked at Jess

“AND THEY MEAN MAJOR!” Lisa added

Jess hit Lisa

“Carmen wasn’t sure what team Jess batted for until Lisa confirmed it and then it was game on” Jace smiled “Carmen was watching Jess from a distance until Lisa dragged her over. Her words to Lisa was Jess was cute and gorgeous and way out of her league” Jace smirked

“You have such a big mouth!” Carmen laughed facing Lisa and making everyone laugh.

“Soooo… We were all in English when Jess asked Carmen out on a date…note passing was sort of the thing then and Jess as usual got caught and the full class were made aware of that note…The date happened however Jess was late because she was at the principal’s office off course” Mark smiled

“So anyway Jess had major issues making her and Carmen official”

“I DID NOT!” Jess butted in

“Wow wow shut up this is our speech not yours, rest your voice!” Lee stated “As I was saying Jess didn’t want to make her and Carmen official but she eventually did in front of everyone in the lunch room and then nearly took Carmen’s ex’s teeth out”

Jess covered her face “I’m going to kill them”

“I think that’s when Carmen realised how much of a loose cannon Jess could be” Lee smiled “She also realised how protective Jess was”
