    Bette, Tina and the girls make it to Bette’s place…Is it a recipe for disaster?

    Tina: (laughing and
    looking around at the traffic around them) “I think we’ve held up traffic long
    enough”

    Bette: (glancing at the backed up cars behind them, then back at Tina) “I’d
    rather keep kissing you, but I guess we better get going. I will see you at the
    apartment.”

    Tina: (giving Bette one last quick kiss before breaking away and winking at
    her) “Okayrace you to your place then, Porter!”

    Bette: (accepting Tina’s kiss and smiling) “Whatever you say, baby.”

    Bette sighed. For the first time, competitive Bette Porter did not care if she
    won this race or not. All she cared about was that when she reached her
    apartment, Tina would be there. Tina Kennard. ‘God, this woman makes my heart
    want to just burst with simultaneous emotions of love and happiness!’

    Bette couldn’t believe Tina’s public display of affectionthat she kissed with
    such passion in front of everyone to see. Bette felt so fortunate to be the
    recipient of Tina’s sweet kisses. ‘I want those kisses forever,’ Bette thought.

    Tina: (getting in and starting up her car, glancing at Alice) “What’s that
    expression for?”

    Alice: (sinking back into the passenger seat, laughing) “I can’t believe you
    just did that!”

    Tina: (giggling) “Yeahneither can I!”

    Alice: (getting out her chap stick) “Damn! You reject her kiss at the clubonly
    to produce a traffic-stopping kiss for all of West Hollywood to talk about.
    You’re good, Blondievery good!”

    Tina: (seeing Alice twirl her chap stick in her fingers) “ThanksI think. And
    Al?”

    Alice: “Yes, Tina?”

    Tina: (laughing) “Secure that chap stick, will you?”

    Bette walked back to her car and when she got in she found Shane and Dana
    staring at her with wide eyes.

    Bette: “What’s up with you two?”

    Shane: (laughing) “Apparently, nothing as hot as what’s up with you!”

    Dana: (tapping Bette’s shoulder) “Hey BetteTina got any friends she could hook
    me up with?”

    Bette: (laughing, happily following Tina’s car) “You can ask her yourself when
    we get home, Dane!”

    Alice: (laughing) “Damn BlondieI can’t believe the way you kissed Porter!”

    Tina: (laughing) “Not bad for a ‘straight chick’ as you call me?”

    Alice: (howling) “Oh honey, once upon a time you were straightbut with
    Porterwelcome to the team, Blondie!”

    Tina: (glancing over at Alice and thinking how funny she is before she jokingly
    replied) “Thanks, Alice. Do I get a club membership card or something?”

    6. You guys, I just love this story. Its cracks me up every time, yet theirs always the love going on with Bette and Tina, sweet. Party Machine, too funny, but why does the idea of an already intoxicated group of manos worry me if you add getting them high. Oh please, make sure Bette and Tina lock the door, or I got a feeling Alice is so gonna get her butt kicked. Can’t wait

      Well, actually I’m from Geneva, in the French-spoken part of Switzerland. That can explain a pretty Frenchy way to write English – but I think you’re very indulgent with that ! (*smile*)

      “Alice: (groaning) “I don’t feel so good…”
      Tina: (looking concerned) “What can I get you Alice?”
      Alice: (laughing) “Well, you and Porter can put on another show for us!” “
      … How priceless, this Alice ! (Cheer up, Party Machine, our marvellous authors’ pair will give us another show later – no doubt about that !)

      Now, call me silly but I couldn’t help thinking about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with this part :
      “Tina: (heading back toward the kitchen with the empty glasses) “Well, you all get settled and I’ll check up on you again.”
      Alice, Dana, Shane: (in unison) “Thanks, Tina!” “
      … H&S’s version of Disney’s masterpiece : Blondie and the gang (… or Goldilocks and the Three Little… Pigs, hmm ?? *wink*) !!

    14. LOL, Alice is too much. It will be a mtter of seconds when Bette smells those special cigarettes and then they will be out on their assess..better yet bette and Tina can join them. Aint’ nothing with chilling with Mary Jane once in awhile!!!

      You guys crack me up every time! I rush home from work everyday because I can’t wait to read the next chapter. I really love this story, you’re both truly gifted writers. Unfortunately next week I won’t be able to read them because I will be in the hospital for 5 or 6 days. My only consolation is that when I’ve healed enough to be able to sit at my computer again I will have the pleasure of getting caught up on all the chapters that I’ve missed.

    18. thanx 4 the post, man everytime i read one of your post, i end up smilling all day, i love alice, dana, & shane, they are 2 funny and i kind of think that bette is somewhat scared that something may happen between alice & tina we all know how alice feels about tina, and well they become quite good friends someone better tie-up the party machine before something happens and bette better keep an eye on tina because if tina comes out there will be thousands of girls wanting a piece of her.
