Alice: (rubbing her head) “YeahI can’t remember where thoughdamn, those
tequila shots are kicking in big time”
Tina: (looking at Alice, concerned) “Why don’t you take a quick nap the rest of
the way, okay?”
Alice: (mumbling softly) “Nap? Ha! You’re talking to Big Al the Party Machine, here.
I can go all night longlife of the party is by your sideare you up for a wild
tale involving your sweetheart, Tina?”
Tina: (smiling) “Surelet’s hear it, Party Machine.”
Alice: (smiling) “AlrightI have to tell you about this one crazy night the
girls and Iwe decide to drag Porter out for some funso we end up at this hot
club called Skinand you’ll never believe what happened”
Tina: (wondering why Alice stopped, glancing over) “Alice?” (Tina smiles as she
sees Alice sound asleep in the passenger seat, speaking softly) “Sleep tight,
Party Machine.”
Moments later, Tina pulls into a parking spot with Bette right behind her.
Tina: (whispering) “Alice?” (she gently shakes her shoulder) “Party Machine?”
Tina quietly turns off the engine and exits the car.
Bette: (getting out of the car, speaking to Dana and Shane who appeared to be
really feeling the effects of the alcohol now) “Alright you two, let’s get you
inside.”
Shane: (groaning, holding her head) “Whose idea was it to down tequila shots all
night?”
Dana: (groaning, holding her stomach) “Ughit was yours, Stud. And I had a
screaming ***** too!”
Bette: (laughing, walking towards Tina but turning back to the girls) “I don’t
even want to know what you girls have been up to!”
Tina: (holding up her hands in defeat) “She’s out.”
Bette: (laughing, sneaking a quick kiss) “Is that your coming out declaration,
baby?”
Tina: (laughing) “No. I meant Alicecompletely knocked out.”
Bette: (referring to Dana and Shane) “Why don’t you lead those two inside?
(handing Tina the apartment key) “and I’ll take care of Alice.”
Tina: (looking at Bette quizzically) “Is that like, in a Soprano wayBig Al
swimming with the fishies?”
Bette: (laughing) “Good idea, baby!”
Tina: (swatting Bette’s arm playfully) “Bette!”
Bette: “Kidding, Tina. She drives me crazybut I love her. I guess I’m mentally
ill.”
Tina: “Well, all I’ll say isif it weren’t for Alice, we may not have shared
that red light kiss.”
Bette: (becoming serious) “I’ll be good, promise.”
Tina: (smiling) “Okay, see you inside.”
Dana: (wobbling towards Tina) “So TinaI was wondering if you had any single
friends?”

You guys, I just love this story. Its cracks me up every time, yet theirs always the love going on with Bette and Tina, sweet. Party Machine, too funny, but why does the idea of an already intoxicated group of manos worry me if you add getting them high. Oh please, make sure Bette and Tina lock the door, or I got a feeling Alice is so gonna get her butt kicked. Can’t wait

You guys crack me up every time! I rush home from work everyday because I can’t wait to read the next chapter. I really love this story, you’re both truly gifted writers. Unfortunately next week I won’t be able to read them because I will be in the hospital for 5 or 6 days. My only consolation is that when I’ve healed enough to be able to sit at my computer again I will have the pleasure of getting caught up on all the chapters that I’ve missed.
Alice: (slowly opening her eyes, looking disoriented) “Grandma…what are you doing here?”

thanx 4 the post, man everytime i read one of your post, i end up smilling all day, i love alice, dana, & shane, they are 2 funny and i kind of think that bette is somewhat scared that something may happen between alice & tina we all know how alice feels about tina, and well they become quite good friends someone better tie-up the party machine before something happens and bette better keep an eye on tina because if tina comes out there will be thousands of girls wanting a piece of her.
