I knew you hadn’t.  So do you wanna hear a lil more about my two moms?  I knew ya did, always gets ‘em in the end, the sweet…  Oh nevermind….  Here’s a lil more of whatcha looking for…  Is this what you are looking for?  Really?  I’m gonna remind y’all about one wittle detail.  This isn’t all smooth sailing and happy times.  My two moms went through a lot before finally settling down and finding each other for the last time.  A whole lotta things happen….  That’s a promise.

    ~*~*~*~*~*

Bette walked into the quiet house that she and Tina called home, looking around at the darkened room, feeling so lost and miserable without Tina at her side.  She’d begged the girls not to throw a party. She just wanted to go home with the baby in as quiet a manner as humanly possible.  The door swung open and she let out a long sigh of relief, there was no one there, but that made Bette ache all the more for Tina.  The baby’s cooing was the only sound in the otherwise silent house.  Bette was thankful that their friends had listened to her.

Usually Alice would have ignored the request; she had a habit of doing quite the opposite of what was asked of her, but under these circumstances she must have thought it was a good idea.  Being here without Tina was excruciating, it tore her soul right from her very being.  The thought of having to be here alone with the baby was so hard that fresh tears sprung to her eyes at the wrong moments, at every moment, if truth were told.  She dropped the bag at the door, kicking the door closed with one long leg, while carefully shifting Angel to her other arm.

“You ready to see your room, little one?  This wonderful artist named Leigh sent you something to gaze up at while you slumber, my sweet.  Are you ready?” asked Bette. The baby who batted her arms and legs one moment, then seemed to fall asleep the next, gazed up at Bette as if understanding.  Sabrina had been right, she was a quiet kid, her eyes seemed to always be watching and learning.  Bette wondered if the quietness was going to stick or if she was going to be a rambunctious youth in the years to come.

    1. I’m just thrilled to see this in print again. Angie is so cute. Plus Sam is in this one/ Plus the whole gang. I’m still waiting on a Novel so it can grace my coffee table under glass and dare anyone to touch it. Hopefully Peggy will take care of Helena, and the good Dr will help Bette away from Tinas Mother. Somethings never changes Tinas Mother is a Bi%%h in this one also. thanks for posting bvh

    2. Seriously you hit al the emotions. I feel anger toward Helena…sympathy for Sabrina’s situation…sadness for Bette in having to bring AJ home without Tina…annoyance at Tina’s Mom showing up and taking over now…scared for Marina…and I am laughing my butt off at AJ’s commentary. FANTABULOUS chapter!

    3. It is fantastic. Please continue.. I love Marina and her sister. Held prisoner by Diane. All your stories are really good. I am already enjoying this. Please continue..

    4. Hello tJR, Oh I am all for the serious moments it just makes any tender and cute ones that much more powerful. I can see there being a lot of issues rising up not only for Bette and Tina but also the rest of this ever growing family. You have such an amazing way of creating unique and different scenarios for each of these groups of characters that intertwine with one another to create on incredible journey. Never fear I’m here till the end (you just better make sure thats a long ways off :P). Hugs, JC
