Le Bandwagon 6.02
“She did what?” asked Peggy in an astonished voice. The man behind her was teetering, about to drop the arm full of boxes. “JOSE!” yelled Peggy and the man proceeded to drop the boxes with a loud bang. Bette jumped, closing her eyes at the deafening sound. Peggy was angry and Bette certainly didn’t want to see Peggy angry. Peggy’s cheeks flushed and then grew bright red.
Angelica began to cry; full bellowing cries and wails. Her fists clenched and her legs kicking at the loud bang that seemed to have awoken her from the best sleep of her young life.
“Fuck…” Bette said, pushing into the room and rushing to the baby. She closed the door on Peggy, wondering why she was here in the first place. It was obvious that Peggy was oblivious to what Helena had done. Helena was one big snake in the grass and there was no way that Peggy was going to let it pass. Peggy wasn’t one to let things go down without a fight.
Bette picked up the baby, holding her close to her chest, kissing her rosy cheek, and rubbing her back. The baby’s little arms seemed to be trying to hug her, while her little hands tugged at her hair and ear. She couldn’t think about work right now, she needed to be there for Angel and for Tina. How a child changed the way you thought about the world. The job could wait awhile; six months ago, she’d never have thought that possible.
In the hallway.
“Give me the phone…,” ordered Peggy, snapping her fingers with an enraged motion, her face was bright red, having gone passed angry and moving into the realm of being livid.
“Which phone Mrs. Peabody?” he asked, and she gave him a deadpan look.
“…the phone that will allow me to dial the spawn of my loins, my back stabbing, underhanded childish daughter, who is about to face the wrath of an angry mother hen!” Peggy bellowed, holding out her hand.

So I take it you people KNOW my ‘sort of’ godmother Peggy? I say ‘sort of’ cuz she’s not my REAL godmother that would be Alice. She’s more like…. ‘My Godfather’ godmother, if you know what I mean? Like the movie the Godfather? The Soprano’s? The one who puts a hit out on someone for giving you goo-goo eyes or ruins the career of the father of the little boy who teased you about your curly hair, well that’s Peggy!

I’m just thrilled to see this in print again. Angie is so cute. Plus Sam is in this one/ Plus the whole gang. I’m still waiting on a Novel so it can grace my coffee table under glass and dare anyone to touch it. Hopefully Peggy will take care of Helena, and the good Dr will help Bette away from Tinas Mother. Somethings never changes Tinas Mother is a Bi%%h in this one also. thanks for posting bvh
Seriously you hit al the emotions. I feel anger toward Helena…sympathy for Sabrina’s situation…sadness for Bette in having to bring AJ home without Tina…annoyance at Tina’s Mom showing up and taking over now…scared for Marina…and I am laughing my butt off at AJ’s commentary. FANTABULOUS chapter!
I’ve got to go back and read the other chapters. Really enjoyed this.
Keep writing, Ill be here too!
It is fantastic. Please continue.. I love Marina and her sister. Held prisoner by Diane. All your stories are really good. I am already enjoying this. Please continue..
Hello tJR, Oh I am all for the serious moments it just makes any tender and cute ones that much more powerful. I can see there being a lot of issues rising up not only for Bette and Tina but also the rest of this ever growing family. You have such an amazing way of creating unique and different scenarios for each of these groups of characters that intertwine with one another to create on incredible journey. Never fear I’m here till the end (you just better make sure thats a long ways off :P). Hugs, JC
