    Just wanted to say sorry for taking so long….Life has been hectic….working two jobs and interning at a radio station…so, not easy…but here is the next chapter…and it’s filled with angst as promised…Thank you to all who commented….it really means a lot to me….keep them coming guys…I feed off them….

    (Everyone was eating at the kitchen table. Laughter filled the room along with talking. Everyone seemed to be at ease with each other. There was still some uneasiness that could be found, but each was just happy to be there. Ashley would sometimes sneak a glance at Spencer, and Spencer would do the same when they thought the other wasn’t looking. But each was. Neither saying anything because they didn’t want to ruin it. Arthur and Paula looked on. Both content that they finally had their daughter home, but knew the journey was only really starting. They had five years to make up for, and everyone at the table knew it wasn’t going to be easy. They just hoped this would break them in the end. No one said nothing because they wanted to enjoy what peace they had before the war erupted.)

    Arthur: So Spence, what have you been doing for the last five years?

    (Spencer shifted a little uneasy. Ashley noticed but didn’t say anything. Glen noticed too, but instead of saying nothing, he spoke up.)

    Glen: Hey dad, the bears are playing today. Their versing the Giants.

    (Arthur got easily sidetracked when you talked sports with him. Glen knew this was his weakness, and put it to good use. He could sense his sister’s uneasiness, and just wanted her to be comfortable. So he sifted his father’s attention to something else, taking the pressure of Spencer. Spencer smiled at Glen knowing what he did. She silently thanked him, and he nodded his head in response. Spencer turned to look at Ashley, but couldn’t read the expression on the girl’s face. It scared her. She use to be able to read Ashley so well, but right now she couldn’t get a read on the girl.)

    Spencer: You ok, Ash?

    Ashley: (breaks out of her daze) Huh? Oh…yea…I am fine. Just thinking.

    Spencer: About what?

    Ashley: Nothing important.

    Spencer: It looked important from here.

Okay, I know that it can’t be all rainbows and butterflies (but it’s hard ’cause every story here has so much angst in it… so somedays I crave fluff…but of course for this story it is really realistic that they would clash in the beginnng after all this time and what happened). But, what is wrong with Spencer? This is what she wanted so badly. To be with, to see Ashley again. It was like she would have given anything… even her life. And then she runs out on a simple revelation. What’s wrong with you Spencer?! Just pour your heart out and let it heal babe. Great update!

When i’m writing my story, it seems like I’ve written a ton, and then it only translates to one page here. lol. I’m loving the angst even though it hurts me to see two people so right for each other struggling to deal with their emotions. This is an amazing story, i’m really looking forward to the next update. pms.
