Spencer: I don’t need your sarcasm right now ok.
Arthur: What are you doing Spence?
Spencer: Going home.
Arthur: You are home. Here is your home.
Spencer: This place hasn’t been my home in five years. I don’t think it ever was.
Arthur: You’re hurting yourself, and Ashley by doing this. I thought you wanted to make things right.
Spencer: Things will never be alright. It’s been too long. It’s too late.
Arthur: It’s not to late Spencer. It is if you make it. It doesn’t have to be over.
Spencer: I can’t do this dad. I can’t. It’s too hard.
Arthur: No one said it would be easy Spencer.
Spencer: No one said it would be this hard either.
Arthur: So that’s it…you’re just going to quit.
Spencer: Yea. I guess so.
Arthur: I didn’t raise a quitter….I raised a fighter. Where is the old Spencer.
Spencer: She dies five years ago when she thought she killed the only person she loved. She’s gone. Never coming back.
Arthur: She’s not gone. You just hid her. You know if you walk out that door, Ashley won’t wait for you to come back again.
Spencer: I know. I am doing this for her. She deserves to be happy.
Arthur: That’s a bullshit excuse and you know it. Only a coward would hide behind that. You’re not doing this for her. Your doing it for yourself because you can’t handle it. You don’t have to handle it alone Spencer. You have us.
Spencer: (scoffs) Right! Like I did five years ago right? Where were you than?
Arthur: We all made mistakes Spencer, but we are trying to fix them. We can’t without you.
Spencer: You’re going to have to.
(With that Spencer zipped up her suitcase, and made her way down the stairs. There stood everyone including Ashley. Spencer locked eyes with her. She could see the hurt registering in those brown eyes. She wanted to be there for Ashley, but she didn’t know how. And that scared her. So, she is doing the only thing she knows how to do. Run. She slowly makes her way to the door, but not before hearing a voice call out to her.)
Ashley: Spencer…(Spencer turns to look at her) If you walk out that door….Don’t bother coming back. You walk out…you walk out of my life for good.
(Spencer watched Ashley as she gripped the door knob to leave. It hurt that Ashley said that to her, but she knows why the brunette did. She is protecting herself. Tears leave both the girls eyes. Spencer smiles, and then open’s the door. And shut its. Ashley began to sob as Kyla comforted her. Spencer stood outside the door crying knowing she just made the biggest mistake of her life. She sat down and cried in her hands. Kyla hugged Ashley trying to comfort her.)
Ashley: How could she leave Kyla? She left me. Us.
Kyla: I guess she sacred Ash.
Ashley: Me too. Do you think I made a mistake telling her not to come back?
Kyla: I think she knows you were just mad.
Ashley: (Cries) What did I do? What did I do?
OUTSIDE THE DOOR
Spencer: She forgave me, and I fucked it up. I had her. I had her again. And I lost her. I swore I wouldn’t let go this time. And I did. Now, I am alone again. And this time, the feeling is worse.
(Neither girl knew it but they were both by the door. Each crying for the other. Wanting the other to run through the door, but neither making the move. The were back to square one again. Almost all progress lost. All hope lost. They were alone again.)

I bet you all hate me now…that’s ok…can’t be rainbows and butteflies all the time people….but don’t worry things might get better….you know you love me cliffy’s…..

Okay, I know that it can’t be all rainbows and butterflies (but it’s hard ’cause every story here has so much angst in it… so somedays I crave fluff…but of course for this story it is really realistic that they would clash in the beginnng after all this time and what happened). But, what is wrong with Spencer? This is what she wanted so badly. To be with, to see Ashley again. It was like she would have given anything… even her life. And then she runs out on a simple revelation. What’s wrong with you Spencer?! Just pour your heart out and let it heal babe. Great update!

Great job getting out about 3 pages even though you’re busy, I know it takes time. When i’m writing my story, it seems like I’ve written a ton, and then it only translates to one page here. lol. I’m loving the angst even though it hurts me to see two people so right for each other struggling to deal with their emotions.
