    Hmmmm….you will just have to read….

    Ashley: Why did you lie?

    Spencer: What? When?

    Ashley: Just now. Madison and Glen asked you what you did in Texas, and you said nothing. That you stayed in, and hardly went out. That’s not true.

    Spencer: Yes, it is. Ashley, why would I lie about that.

    Ashley: Then explain the girls Spencer. How did you hook-up with girls, if you never went out.

    Spencer: Who said you have to go out to hook-up?

    Ashley: Well, than how did you….

    (Ashley stopped mid-sentence. It finally clicked. Ashley is surprised she didn’t catch it sooner. The look on her face, told Spencer she figured it out. The rest of the gang was clueless, waiting to be explained on what was going on.)

    Ashley Continued: Hookers—-you called hookers?

    Spencer: (lowers her head) Yes.

    Ashley: Raise your head and look at me.

    Spencer: (slowly lifts her head to look at Ashley) I—

    Ashley: Just don’t. Not yet.

    (Ashley sat there with her head in her hands, rubbing her temples. Arthur and Paula looked slightly astonished…Kyla’s mouth was open….Aiden was shocked….Madison didn’t know what to think…and Glen was shaking his head. The only two people who didn’t know what to think was Caleb and Rayne, but that was because they didn’t know what was going on.)

    Kyla: Caleb. Rayne.

    Caleb: Yes, mommy.

    Kyla: Take Rayne into your room, and put Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on.

    Caleb: Ok. Come Rayne.

    (Caleb grabs for Rayne’s hand as they walk out of the kitchen and into there room.)

    Kyla: Ashley…

    Ashley: Kyla…don’t. (turns to Spencer) Why didn’t you tell me this?

    Spencer: You didn’t ask. I thought it was irrelevant.

    Ashley: Why would it be irrelevant?

    Spencer: You didn’t tell me know you slept with?

    Ashley: I told you I didn’t sleep with anyone. I dated. Not slept.

    Spencer: I told you I had girlfriends. And that we had sex.

    Ashley: You left out the part about having to pay for it, and them being hookers.

    Spencer: What is the big deal? Huh? Like you’re a saint!

    Glen: Oh shit!

    Kyla: Here we go.

    (Ashley looked at Spencer as if she slapped her across the face. Spencer knew she fucked up as soon as those words left her mouth, but there was no taking them back now. The damage was done. Now she would reap the aftermath.)

Okay, I know that it can’t be all rainbows and butterflies (but it’s hard ’cause every story here has so much angst in it… so somedays I crave fluff…but of course for this story it is really realistic that they would clash in the beginnng after all this time and what happened). But, what is wrong with Spencer? This is what she wanted so badly. To be with, to see Ashley again. It was like she would have given anything… even her life. And then she runs out on a simple revelation. What’s wrong with you Spencer?! Just pour your heart out and let it heal babe. Great update!

When i’m writing my story, it seems like I’ve written a ton, and then it only translates to one page here. lol. I’m loving the angst even though it hurts me to see two people so right for each other struggling to deal with their emotions. This is an amazing story, i’m really looking forward to the next update. pms.
