Falling down means you have to crawl back up – (Chapter: confessions and laughter)

“Why?” Kyla now took a step towards her.

“Because I care about you. You mean the world to me Kyla. What kind of question is that? Why? How could I not care about you?” Spencer was searching the other person’s eyes trying to find some clue or answers. “Speak to me, without these riddles.”

“You want the truth?” Kyla said raising her voice again, knowing that she had come to far to turn around.

    “Of course. What‘s going on?”

“I think I have feelings for someone.” She whispered but with no background sounds Spencer was able to hear it. Her heart dropped at the thought of Kyla having feelings for someone, she didn’t want the girl to be with anyone else. She had always assumed that it was her jealous streak coming through and she simply didn’t want to lose her friend. Maybe it was more than that, but now it was too late.

    “Oh.”

“No not just someone.” Spencer frowned, feeling that she wasn’t ready to hear it. “You.”

“What?” The single word had struck her heart with force.

“You, my thoughts are of you Spencer, when I’m not with you I think of you, and when I’m with you I’m so happy. And I wish I didn’t, I wish it would go away but it keeps playing on my mind. And I can‘t control it any more.” Kyla was now not able to hold back the tears as truth flowed so too did they.

“Kyla I…” Spencer didn’t know what to say, her mind had gone blank.

“I know, I don’t expect anything, but…” Kyla soon become lost in Spencer’s eyes and logic seemed to be draining from her.

“What?” Her voice was barely a murmur, her voice ragged.

“I…” Her answer didn’t come in form of a sentence and instead come in the form of her lips upon Spencer’s. She had not expect the kiss to be returned, but had not been able to escape from her dream and the thought of that kiss had haunted her. It was the feeling of Spencer’s tongue on her lower lip that allowed her to caresses the blonde’s face with her hands, savouring the strawberry lip gloss. Spencer’s hand came and rested softly on Kyla’s jeans unsure of where to rest. Their lips parted and their tongues finally met in a flurry of electricity, and in the shock Spencer jumped back. Staring in astonishment at Kyla for a few moment’s, she did the only thing she could thing of, Spencer began to run away. The problem was Kyla was the one she wanted to run to and she couldn’t so she chose the next option she could think of.
