    Spencer looks for Kyla while Ashley tries to sort things out

    Kyla sat at the island in the kitchen with the steaming cup of coffee in front of her, she was not a particularly big coffee drinker but she had not been able to sleep and needed to keep herself awake for school. As she sipped the strong drink she saw a bubbly Ashley walk in.

    “Good morning.” Ash said with a smiled while pouring herself a glass of orange juice, Kyla simply stared at her confused.

    “Where is your caffeine and a scowl?” It was not a usual occurrence to see such a chirpy brunette in the morning.

    “I’m just happy, can’t a person be happy in the morning?”

    “Yes a person can, but you can’t.” Ashley chuckled.

    “I saw Spencer yesterday.” Kyla’s head shot up.

    “Oh?” She was surprised that Spencer had not said any thing, Kyla suddenly thought, is that who Spencer had run off to?

    “Yep. Things are definitely looking better. You want a ride to school?”

    “No I’m alright thanks.”

    “Alright see you later.”

    Ashley left the kitchen and Kyla just watched, her entire body was exhausted, sleep had not found her last night, she had been unable to escape from her thoughts of Spencer. Mrs Davis walked in dressed in an all black Gucci suit and eyed the tired girl.

    “Kyla you look dreadful.” The brunette rolled her eyes thinking that the woman knew how to throw compliments around. “Are you feeling alright?”

     

    “Not really.” Kyla said suddenly realising how she could avoid seeing Spencer.

    “Might as well go up stairs to bed then.” The short brunette didn’t have to hear it twice and slumped off the stool and up to her bed to attempt to sleep and forget about the horror that was her life. She was aware that she would have to face the girl at some point but at this moment all she wanted to do was ignore it.

     

    Spencer walked into school checking the usual places that she would find Kyla but the brunette wasn’t anywhere to be found. She had been going over what to say to Kyla the entire night, but now the girl wasn’t here. Spencer’s heart suddenly dropped as a new thought entered her head…was Kyla ignoring her? Frowning she scanned the area but her eyes stopped when she saw Ashley and Aiden, not quite sure she was ready to see that she walked away knowing class was going to start soon.

    2. Why is that Ashley chose Aiden over Ashley in the first place? Did she feel it necessary to hurt the one “true” love in her life, Spencer, to stay with an ass like Aiden who she really never was in love with? It just doesn’t make sense. Ashley needs to tell Aiden I’m in love with Spencer and I need you out of my life FOREVER, because she is more important to me than you are. How hard could it possibly be to say that? Spencer is a great friend to Ashley, better than Ashley deserves. I agree with “jt” Ashley should have to work harder to gain back Spencer’s friendship and love. I like the idea of Spyla too. Ashley needs a little dose of her own medicine. This fic is absolutely, positively AMAZING! I look forward to seeing your updates! PMS

    7. ok unlike the others i do NOT want spyla… lol and the aiden dumping, PERFECT… and im glad spencer went to comfort ash cuz we all know how ashley feels towards aiden and losing that sux… but spencer and ashley need to be friends first and then try to work on it… with maybe a few slip ups along the way of taking things slow… ;) so post soon, i love this fic
