    Spencer looks for Kyla while Ashley tries to sort things out

    “And with Johnson ’s voice, this is going to be the longest year of English ever.” Spencer smiled.

    “Where you off to now?”

    “Chemistry. You?”

    “Bio.”

    “You should be good at that, you know all about the human form.” Spencer joked but Ashley dropped her head believing that it was an insult that was meant to sting. “Ash I was joking.”

    “Oh.”

    “Anyway, I better go this way, if I’m late Kirby is going to go mad.” The blonde said as she walked off but turned around to look at Ashley quickly. “Maybe I’ll see you at lunch.” Ashley’s entire face lit up and she was left watching the girl walk away and in a moment of weakness checked her out before walking in the opposite direction. It was as she departed to her class that she realised how torn she was, she wanted to talk and be with Spencer but she NEEDED to speak to Aiden. This lunch time was going to be very interesting, she thought to herself.

     

    As lunch arrived Ashley went outside and decided whoever she saw first would be the one she would sit with. The problem arose when she saw each of them sitting at a different table in the court yard. There was ‘want’ and ‘need’ having a battle inside her and she didn’t know who was going to win out. And then the winner stood victorious inside her. The brunette walked over to the beautiful girl who was staring at her phone that lay on the table.

    “Hey Spence, I’ll be over in a minute I just have to go talk to Aiden.” She didn’t want to tell the girl anything but she didn’t want her to think she was being ignored in favour of the dark haired boy.

    “No worries, he is your boyfriend Ash.” Spencer tried to brush it off as though it didn’t bother her but she could not prevent the tightness in her voice.

    “It’s not like that…”

    “Ash it’s fine.” And Spencer turned back to her phone trying to force Kyla to ring her.

    Aiden had watched the whole exchange and he felt like things were starting to fall into place for him. He had thought that if he gave Ashley enough time that eventually she would love him again like she use to; like he was her world. The sad truth was it was finally starting to sink in that it wasn’t going to happen, he could never claim a heart that belonged to someone else. He watched sadly as Ashley approached him knowing that he was the second choice, she attempted a smile but it faltered.

    2. Why is that Ashley chose Aiden over Ashley in the first place? Did she feel it necessary to hurt the one “true” love in her life, Spencer, to stay with an ass like Aiden who she really never was in love with? It just doesn’t make sense. Ashley needs to tell Aiden I’m in love with Spencer and I need you out of my life FOREVER, because she is more important to me than you are. How hard could it possibly be to say that? Spencer is a great friend to Ashley, better than Ashley deserves. I agree with “jt” Ashley should have to work harder to gain back Spencer’s friendship and love. I like the idea of Spyla too. Ashley needs a little dose of her own medicine. This fic is absolutely, positively AMAZING! I look forward to seeing your updates! PMS

    7. ok unlike the others i do NOT want spyla… lol and the aiden dumping, PERFECT… and im glad spencer went to comfort ash cuz we all know how ashley feels towards aiden and losing that sux… but spencer and ashley need to be friends first and then try to work on it… with maybe a few slip ups along the way of taking things slow… ;) so post soon, i love this fic

    9. Very good fan fiction. You’ve managed to kill off one love triangle with Aiden, while making way for a whole new one with Kyla. Hahaha, very good job.
