“Yea, why should they have to stay all night long if they don’t have to.” Spencer nodded happily and let Ashley go break the good news to the family.
“Hey guys. So it looks like its gonna be a while… you guys can leave. I have to stay here. I will call you all when it gets closer.”
“What about the room I thought we were gonna finish it?” Chelsea asked.
“Yea, well Spencer doesn’t want me to leave her here, so I’ll just finish it in a couple days. Thanks anyways Chels.” Ashley looked solemn, and for one of the happiest days in her life, that was weird.
“Ash, you okay?” Chelsea pulled the girl aside to talk in private.
“I don’t know. I mean, I’m so happy, but… Life’s going to be so different you know. I’m nervous. What if I’m no good at this parenting thing? Its not like I have much experience with good parenting. What if all I am is a disappointment?”
“Ash, hey… you’re just going through that new parent anxiety. Don’t worry. I’ve seen you with Chris, I have seen how you take care of Spencer… You my wonderful sister-in-law-in-law… Not quite sure how that works, but anyways… will be great. It will come natural after a while. You’ll get better and better at it everyday. It just takes a little a while to get use to. So stop worrying and get in there and keep your wife company.” Ashley smiled and hugged Chelsea for the pep talk. She felt a little better. Chelsea went back to the others and soon they left. Leaving Paula to look after them and keep everyone updated.
As Ashley was walking back into Spencer’s room, she saw that the blonde was in much more pain, and went to let her take out her frustrations and pain on her hand. She knew it was going to hurt like hell, but it’s Spencer, she’s not that strong.
“HOLY JESUS MARY AND CHRIST!!! GET HER OFF!! GET HER OFF!!!” Ashley screamed as the nurse came over to try and dislodge Spencer’s hand from hers.
“Just give her a minute and she’ll let go… now breath… in… out… breath through the pain, Ashley.”

AWWW…that was just so precious=) I’m so glad that you updated hon. Paula will forever be the SHE DEVIL!! I’m glad Spencer finally put her in her place. Hopefully that’s the last time we see of her. PMNOW!! Pretty please!

I cant believe Paula! She’s going to miss out on her daughter and granddaughters life cause she’s so close minded! And pulling that stunt with Scott…not cool. I’m so glad they got through it though! And Spencer told her to leave! I really love this story, its so much more in depth about the girls and their lives together! PMS!

First of all, thanks for the long update. Secondly, this chapter had every emotion imaginable, joy of a beautiful baby girl, laughter when Spencer was squeezing Ashley’s hand, anger when Paula brought Scott into the picture, hatred just because Paula exists, and sheer happiness because Spencer & Ashley have now begun the journey of parenthood with the one they love. Excellent writing! PMS
