“Shouldn’t you be telling me that?” Spencer grunted squeezing a little tighter and getting a whimper out of the brunette. As soon as Spencer’s contraction died down she started loosening her grip on Ashley’s hand. The teary eyed brunette quickly tore her hand away and stared down at her purple looking fingers.
“Did she break it? I think she broke it! I cant move my fingers!” The nurse just shook her head smiling to herself.
“Happens every time. You’ll learn to handle it next time.”
“Oh no!! No way in hell am I giving her my hand again.”
“Ashley, it cant be even half as bad as what I feel, so don’t give me that. You’re such a baby.” Ashley just pouted as the nurse brought her an ice pack and some ice chips for Spencer.
“Give her some of these. They help. And take care of that hand. It wont be long before you’re going to be back in the death grip.” The nurse chuckled a bit. “I’ll call Paula and tell her to call your family back. She’s getting closer. It wont be too much longer.” Ashley nodded as she sat next to Spencer on the bed.
“Here you go babe.” Ashley held an ice chip out to Spencer who took it eagerly.
“God I love ice.” Spencer smiled and moaned as she sucked and then chomped on the cool refreshment.
“Good.” Ashley laughed a little bit before she kissed her head. “I really think you broke my hand.” Ashley put on an exaggerated pout, which Spencer mimicked.
“Aw, poor Ashy.” She grabbed onto the brunettes hand and kissed the top of it. They just sat there for a moment smiling at each other. And before Ashley could remove her hand, Spencer had another concretion. She gripped tightly onto Ashley’s hand, making the brunette scream with her all the way through the contraction. The nurse comes in and sees the tears on Ashley’s face and just chuckled.
“Well lets see how we’re doing down here.” The nurse took a seat and checked Spencer’s dilation. “Ooh, you at about a 7. Almost that time. Did you want the epidural?” Spencer and Ashley both nod vigorously. “Ok, let me get the doctor and we’ll take care of that. It’ll also help you dilate a little faster, so that’s good news.” The nurse left the room as Ashley sat away from Spencer icing her hand.

AWWW…that was just so precious=) I’m so glad that you updated hon. Paula will forever be the SHE DEVIL!! I’m glad Spencer finally put her in her place. Hopefully that’s the last time we see of her. PMNOW!! Pretty please!

I cant believe Paula! She’s going to miss out on her daughter and granddaughters life cause she’s so close minded! And pulling that stunt with Scott…not cool. I’m so glad they got through it though! And Spencer told her to leave! I really love this story, its so much more in depth about the girls and their lives together! PMS!

First of all, thanks for the long update. Secondly, this chapter had every emotion imaginable, joy of a beautiful baby girl, laughter when Spencer was squeezing Ashley’s hand, anger when Paula brought Scott into the picture, hatred just because Paula exists, and sheer happiness because Spencer & Ashley have now begun the journey of parenthood with the one they love. Excellent writing! PMS

OK FYI I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE NAME MY DAUGHTER’S NAME IS CADENCE ANNE AND I WANTED SOOO BAD TO NAME HER KENNEDY BUT WE DIDN’T AGREE SO WE ENDED UP NAMING HER CADENCE BUT DAAAAAAAAAAMN I LOVE THAT NAME SO MUCH.
