“Yup.” I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek before retreating to my room. I knew she wanted more, but we had only seen each other twice since everything happened and, in reality, she hadn’t yet done anything to earn that back. Sure, dinner was a nice gesture and I had fun but it’s not like we’d never been out for dinner before. I needed more proof.
The next day was uneventful, except for a nice phone call with Ashley during a short break she had. I asked her whether I should be excited about tomorrow to which she replied, in typical Ashley fashion, “of course, you get to see me!” I asked her whether or not it was a gift; she said “sort of.” She then revealed that what she had planned was not something I would be able to guess, but it wasn’t bad.
The following day, I left my dorm at 11:45 and walked over to her apartment, arriving a few minutes before noon. She gave me a hug upon entering and I immediately noticed a strange man in her apartment; he looked to be about 50-something, and he wore a suit and glasses.
“Spencer, this is Dr. Andrew Cohen.” Please tell me she didn’t sign us up for couples therapy… I shook his hand but didn’t say anything, waiting for further explanation of who exactly he was. “I know everything that’s going on with your mom is really tough and I wanted to help… so, um, I spent a lot of time doing research on treatment options for her. And then I contacted Dr. Cohen. He basically runs the best cancer research facility in, well, the world. And he thinks he can help.” I was speechless; this was unbelievable.
“Really?” I managed to say.
“Yes, well, Ashley put me in contact with your mother’s primary oncologist. I received her files and I believe we may be able to help her. We recently developed a new treatment that has proven to be quite effective in fighting the type of lymphoma your mother has. While it’s still undergoing tests and is definitely in more of a ‘trial period,’ it has been administered to lymphoma patients and has helped over 85% of these patients enter the remission stage.”

Wow, that is abosolutely amazing. I am sooo in love with Ashley right now! And I love the fact that she is a millionaire and can do whatever the hell she wants! lol, I love your story. I hope to see you post more soon! P.S – I’m sure this has already been covered, but the public does know spencer is with ash right? I mean i know that kid at her school called her out, but…does like, everyonce else know and recognize spencer too??
awwwww, it made me cry. LOL loved it, but I can sense the drama coming with that girl that Spencer almost slept with, so Im enjoying this while I can . LOL Keep up the great work PMS

very….very…very very good, excellent, cant find a good enough word to describe it. It is so very cute! I like how they were all like…no kissing, but then after the amazing suprise, they were all…kissy. lol
And the Gonna’ Get Some Soon Award goes to (envelope please): Ashley Davies! That’s right Ashley! Go ‘head and get your woman! Nonetheless Kozmic, I’m not completely convinced that it’s time for me to emerge from my SON bunker. So, if you don’t mind, I’ll just peek out. High-5 for this fantastic chapter. Please post soon.
