“Wow…” I remarked, rather idiotically.
“But with all treatment options, there are still risks. About 40% of the patients experienced intense side effects, including nausea, fever, extreme fatigue, stomach pains, and vomiting. Because this is so new, we can’t accurately predict all possible side effects of the drug,” he added.
“But… it… it works?”
“Well, based on the results I’d say yes, most of the time it does work,” he said with a chuckle, a smile emerging on his face.
“If it works so well, how come nobody knows about it?” I asked, full of questions.
“Well it’s still in its early stages and it’s technically not FDA-approved yet. It’s also not covered by any type of insurance so the cost can get quite high.”
“Does my mom know about any of this?”
“Yes. She’s going to be flown to my facility in Westchester within the week so she can decide what she wants to do,” he explained. “I apologize, but I really have to get back to my office. Do you have any other questions?”
“Um, no, not that I can think of,” I replied.
“Alright, well, here’s my card.” He handed it to me and I tucked it into my pocket. “I have your number; I’ll be calling prior to your mother’s arrival. Nice to meet you.” And with that, he left. I continued to stare at the closed door until Ashley shook me out of my daze.
“So what do you think?” she asked. I turned to her, knowing there was no way I could convey what I was thinking with words. I cupped her face in my hands, bringing my lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around my waist, pulling me closer. It was one of the best, most passionate kisses we’d ever shared. It was also one of those moments that you just wish you could wrap up in a box and save for a rainy day. When we reluctantly pulled away for air, I gazed into her eyes.
“I love you,” I told her.
“I love you, too.”
“I can’t believe you did all of this for me,” I said. While the treatment was obviously for my mom, I didn’t expect Ashley to go to such lengths just for her; they weren’t exactly best friends. The fact that she would try to help a woman who had neither liked nor accepted her, and had even spoken badly about her to her face… well, that definitely was a clear indicator for how she felt about me. She shrugged, still smiling.

Wow, that is abosolutely amazing. I am sooo in love with Ashley right now! And I love the fact that she is a millionaire and can do whatever the hell she wants! lol, I love your story. I hope to see you post more soon! P.S – I’m sure this has already been covered, but the public does know spencer is with ash right? I mean i know that kid at her school called her out, but…does like, everyonce else know and recognize spencer too??

very….very…very very good, excellent, cant find a good enough word to describe it. It is so very cute! I like how they were all like…no kissing, but then after the amazing suprise, they were all…kissy. lol
