Midwest Transfer – (Chapter: 13-Goodbye Song)
As Madison walked into Grey she noticed Ashley was up onstage speaking.
“Well ladies and gentlemen, tonight is the last night for Miss Jorey Stral to grace us with her voice. Tonight she is only going to perform one song. It’s actually a song that she wrote herself. That’s coming up in the next hour. So tonight we have a full band and we’re going to kick things off with an oldie of my fathers called Hold On.” Ashley back away from the microphone and grabbed her guitar and then the band started to play.
Madison spotted Jorey. She was sitting at the bar with Spencer. The two of them were talking and seemed to be having a good time. Madison couldn’t help but feel cold inside when she thought about tonight being Jorey’s last night in L.A. But she didn’t dare walk up to the bar.
“Did you tell Madison?” Spencer sat at the bar and was looking at the front door.
“Yeah I told her yesterday. Why?”
“Don’t look. But she’s here.”
“Oh…great.” Jorey took another drink out of the glass she was holding. Lucky for her it wasn’t alcohol.
“Nervous?” Spencer laughed at how spastic Jorey had just become.
“More so than usual. And I go on after the next song.”
“Why don’t you go to the bathroom, collect your thoughts, and get control. I’ll come get you when it’s time for you to go on.”
“Alright. I’ll try.” Jorey took in a deep breath, “Thanks Spence.” Jorey headed to the bathroom.
Madison took a seat at an empty table and ordered a drink. When she glanced back up at the bar Jorey was gone. Where’d she go? Madison got up from the table and walked towards Spencer, “Where’d Jorey go?”
“She’s in the bathroom trying to calm down. Why do you care?”
Madison sat down on one of the stools beside Spencer, “Because I still care about her Spence.”
“Then why couldn’t you forgive her?”
“Because my whole life, people I’ve loved have deceived me. I’m not like you, I can’t just forgive and forget.”
“You don’t forget Madison you just forgive. Forgiving is for the strong. And obviously you’re one of the weak. If you haven’t noticed, Jorey is leaving because of you. Because you can’t find it in that black heart of yours to let it go. She made a mistake. She knows that. If she didn’t then I wouldn’t have forgiven her. She loves you Madison. But you’re still the stupid, snooty, bitch that you always were.” Spencer walked away from the bar and closer to the stage.

i might have gotten a litle more emotional if this story was about spencer and ashely, but it seems the whole thing turned into a madison and jorey thing. i dunno if thats so much for great reading.

Smile_Sadly, the whole story did NOT turn in to Jorey and Madi. It would actually get boring if it did. This story was great and you just hate madi which is understandable. But heed spencers advice and FORGIVE :)
