“The one and only.” Ashley said laughing. Thank God for Kaylen’s ability to think of a story on the fly.
“Wow it is almost 11.” Kaylen said glancing at her watch. “I have to get to class.”
We all stood up and headed to the door.
“I was actually trying to go settle some stuff with Pearl for grandma when I called Aiden.” Ashley said. “I got lost and was hoping he could give me directions.” I immediately offered to show her. I didn’t have class again till 2 today so I had some time to kill.
Aiden offered to walk with Kaylen since his next class was close by.
“They are stunning pair.” I said as we watched them walk off.
“If she breaks his heart I will kick her ass.” Ashley said turning to me with a bit of a challenge in her voice. I took the challenge. I turned to her and took one step closer. I was slightly taller but that didn’t seem to faze her.
“Oh yeah, well if he breaks her heart I will kick his ass.” I said right back. Our eyes were locked.
“Well if you two don’t stop talking about us and start talking about yourselves I will kick BOTH your asses!” a voice said. We turned to see Kaylen smiling at us.
“Sorry, forgot my sunglasses inside. I am bigger than both of you so don’t take that as an idle threat.” She said as she zipped inside and right back out with sunglasses in hand.
“Have fun talking! Bye darlings” She called over her shoulder as she hurried down to meet Aiden.
We both laughed. “Ok you are right.” Ashley said. “They would make a really beautiful couple.”
I suggested we drive Ashley’s SUV to the clinic as it was on the other side of campus from where we were. As we walked to her car Ashley explained that her grandma had wanted to come but couldn’t stand to see Pearl in the clinic so had asked her to come instead.
As Ashley turned on her Porsche Cat Power came through the speakers. Chan Marshall’s voice was hypnotic to me.
“Wow, I didn’t take you for a Cat Power kind of girl” I said. She glanced at me

OMG!!! I love this story! You have written this fic with such perfection and purity of Spencer and Ashley’s characters, it is quite simply impressive. Spencer and Ashley have alot of chemistry in this story and you can feel it…Definitely a 5 star story! PMS
