“Where’s the fire hot rod?” Ashley asked as she came around to my side of the car.
“Oh well, we are here and just though we should go see Pearl and hey I bet you can sign her release papers for Ellen cause she is ready to go home tomorrow and I can bring her…” I babbled starting to walk to the clinic.
She grabbed my hand to stop me. My whole arm was on fire just from the touch.
“Whoa, slow down Spencer. Are you ok?”
“Yeah totally.” I said shrugging my shoulders nonchalantly.
Ashley laughed. “You are totally lying! Didn’t we just have a conversation 3 seconds ago that said we were going to be straight up?”
I took a deep breath. I looked down at my hand that she was still holding. Fine I was going to be completely honest. If it was too much too soon for her then that’s the way it was going to be.
“Look Ashley, in order for my brain to continue functioning you are going to have to let go of my hand.” I said gently.
“Oh right of course. So sorry.” she said. She had a small smirk on her face as she let my hand slide out of hers. She knew exactly what she was doing to me.
I took her to Pearl’s stall and let her give the mare a couple of baby carrots as treats. I gave her a bit of a tour of the clinic feeling much better to talk about what I loved to do. She settled all of Ellen’s paper work so that I could take Pearl back home tomorrow.
It was almost 1 when we finally got back to her car. We decided to grab lunch before I had class at 2. I suggested a small sandwich shop that had a quite outdoor patio. We sat down outside with our lunch and I started the questions first.
‘You said on Saturday that you were just up here for a week, but Aiden mentioned that you moved up here. So which is it?”
“I have decided to move up here for awhile.” Ashley replied.

OMG!!! I love this story! You have written this fic with such perfection and purity of Spencer and Ashley’s characters, it is quite simply impressive. Spencer and Ashley have alot of chemistry in this story and you can feel it…Definitely a 5 star story! PMS
