    I stood there in shock…did she say hetero?

    Kaylen took the lead rope from my hands freeing me up to draw up the Banamine.

    “Why are you giving her a shot?” I heard Ashley speak up.

    “It is a pain reliever.” I replied. “I am going give it to her so that she will be more comfortable for the ride to the hospital.” As I gave Pearl a 10cc injection in her hip muscle.

    Kaylen gave me a questioning look as to who Ashley was.

    “It is such an incredibly long drama filled story.” I breathed out.  ust as Ashley walks over and extends her hand to Kaylen.

    “Hi, my name is Ashley. I am Ellen’s, well Mrs. Davies’, grand-daughter.”

    “Hi, I am Kay…HOLY SHIT” Kaylen exclaimed whipping around to me. Kaylen has never been one to curb her emotions.

    “Is this the girl?” She blurted out.

    “SHUT up Kaylen!!” I forced with my jaw clenched. This day was just getting a little out of hand.

    Apparently Ashley was thinking the same thing.

    “Oh please don’t tell me that this Kay girl is one of your other sexual conquests and I am going to get verbally assaulted again!” Ashley shot at me. For like the 25th time today I just stood there speechless. Kaylen who always has something to say stepped right up for me.

    “Oh no, no we have never had sex. She put her tongue in my mouth once a long time ago, but that didn’t really work out. We are just best friends. My name is Kaylen actually.” Kaylen blurts.

    “Kaylen are you serious!” I said kind of freaking out.

    “Oh wait, I totally said that wrong” Kaylen said. “Spencer is a great kisser actually, it’s just that I am straight and well it didn’t do anything for me. Seriously though, all the girls think she is a great kisser.”

    “KAYLEN!!” I yelled. This whole situation was just like the proverbial rolling snowball. It was getting bigger before my eyes and there was nothing I could do to stop its rapid down hill progression.

    “Jeeze, sorry Spencer.” Kaylen said kind of hurt. “I just wanted to give you some props ya know. Help you get the girl.” She muttered under her breath so only I could hear.

    “Believe me once I tell you the full story you will understand there won’t be a chance in hell that I ‘get the girl’.” I whispered back

    2. I like the fact that Ashley and Spencer’s meeting was a complete and utter failure, because the story can now grow into an impassioned hook-up in the very near future. – Awesome story! PMS
