“Wanna go get something to eat at the diner and charged the laptops there?”
“Ya know, Glen, people give Spencer the credit for being the smart one in the family, but she ain’t got nothing on you.” Ashley said with a smirk.
“I know, right!” The boy answered with a smirk of his own.
“You going to the dance tonight?” Glen asked as he drove the few blocks towards Paula’s Place.
“I wasn’t going to, but I sorta promised someone I’d go with them. What?” Ashley asked with a grin, seeing the broad smile on the blonde’s face.
“I was wondering when you two would hook up.” At this, Ashley’s face scrunched up in confusion.
“Me and Clay?” Now it was Glen’s turn to be confused.
“Clay? Clay Brown?” Glen busted out laughing as he pulled into the empty parking lot of the diner. “You’re going to the dance with Clay Brown?!” Ashley rolled her eyes as she got out of the car, carrying two laptops as she went.
“He wasn’t going to go cause he didn’t have a date so I took pity on him. Now shut up.” Glen was still chuckling as he fumbled the laptops in his hands as he tried to unlock the diner’s door. The glass on the door was still broken, so long planks of wood were in its place. Upon getting the doors open, Glen flipped on the lights and set the laptops and movies on the counter. “Wait,” Ashley started as she flopped back into a booth. “Who’d you think I was talking about?”
The blonde boy plugged in the multiple laptops and blushed a little, acting busier than he was to avoid the question. “No one.”
“You suck at lying, you know that?”
“So what are you dressing up as for the dance?” Glen deflected over his shoulder as he pushed the swinging door to enter the kitchen.
“I hadn’t thought about it, actually. You?”
“An NBA star, of course.” Glen grinned from behind a pantry, pulling out food and placing it on the prep station.
“Of course, cause that’s what you are every year.”
“What’s Clay being? You guys should go as Romeo and Juliet or something romantic like that.” Glen made kissy noises getting Ashley to roll her eyes.

PAGES! Not days. Sorry, the epicness of the story has got me all befuddled.
I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.
PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
