“You’re nuts. You’re fucking nuts.”
“Ashley, if you curse one more time I’ll have to punish you.”
“You killed my father! I’m going to fucking kill you!” Spencer held Ashley’s struggling body down, against her own, trying to keep Ashley from doing something that she’d regret—something that Spencer would regret.
“You were always a horrible listener, Ashley. I never killed Raife. Just like Paula, they’re both alive and mostly healthy; I did need to punish them a little to make them see how wrong they’ve been.”
“He-he’s alive?” Ashley went limp in Spencer’s arms as the words hit her. She was struck dumb with the news and no longer cared about the conversation going on. But she couldn’t believe it, it just couldn’t be true. But the half smile formed on her lips anyway as tears fell from her eyes, hoping, begging, pleading, praying that it was true.
“As I’ve already mentioned; they are.”
“You faked their deaths.” Spencer stated. She would think about her mother later. Right now she had to pay attention enough for both her and Ashley—the brunette looked as though nothing was penetrating the haze she was currently in; her thoughts only on Raife now. So Spencer took up the charge of keeping Marie talking while she struggled with her binds without drawling attention to herself.
“Well once Paula made it plain that she wouldn’t help me dispose of Christine, I knew I had to get her out of the way. It was all very simple, really. The old coroner was easily manipulated by sins of the body. He provided me with the corpses and everything else I required—dental records and such—were at the hospital. Pretending to be Paula got me access and the rest is history. The coroner’s illness was easy enough to fake; he has no family so no one has questioned his disappearance and since everyone just thinks he’s recovering from a heart attack, no one will look for his body. I simply wrote up a letter requesting a sabbatical and the new, young, coroner took his place. Victoria Marks might have to go; she’s much too smart for her own good. I did tell Kyla to aim the sword higher when she killed J.B., though, so I can’t give Marks too much credit.” Marie explained absentmindedly as though she was discussing the weather.

DUDE. I checked this site obsessively all damn day yesterday! Nice ending, super epic. I like that it was 31 days too. SHIT that was awesome. New story soon mk? My 2 suggestions are as follows: not a year long and ummm more sex. KTHXBYE!
PAGES! Not days. Sorry, the epicness of the story has got me all befuddled.
I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.
PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
