The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 13, Friday the Thirteenth; Halloween)

“I told you not to curse, sweetie. My patience is w
    aning.”

“No, I’m not entirely sure what I want to do with you, Spencer. You haven’t been a very good daughter; never confiding in me like Glen. Raife wouldn’t be too upset to see you go. And your father for that matter—even Paula…I don’t think he’d mind if they were dead. I think I’ve kept my sister around long enough. Would you like that, Ashley? You, me, your father and Glen, one big happy family?”

“Don’t you go near them! I swear to God I will kill you if you touch her! I will fucking rip you apart with my hands if you so much as look at her that way again!” Ashley ragged, desperately trying to support herself on her shaking legs as Spencer lay helplessly on the ground behind her. But the knife was secure in Marie’s one hand the gun was pointed at Spencer in the other. Ashley wasn’t sure what she could do.

“Ashley, dear, we don’t need them. One son and one daughter is all I’ve ever wanted and I’m sure Raife would love to have a boy. And to see you again, of course. He mumbles your name in his sleep. He’s missed you.”

“You’ll have to kill me first. I’ll never let you hurt her.”

“But why, Ashley? You don’t need Spencer. Step aside, Ashley. Let me take care of my niece.” Marie went to move around Ashley but the brunette changed her position to block Spencer from sight.

“Spencer, dear, tell Ashley to move or I paint the walls with Kyla’s blood and brain matter.” Marie stated evenly as she pointed the gun at Kyla’s head—close range—and looked at the older brunette expectantly.

“Ash…Ash baby, please, just, just leave, just move, just, please, Ash…just…just.” Spencer wasn’t sure what she wanted. Marie was basically telling her that Ashley would be fine—Kyla and Spencer would be killed; not Ashley. This was the most reassuring thing she had heard yet and if it meant…if Ashley moving meant…well…Spencer would just have to deal with it.

“Move, young lady.” Marie said firmly, cocking the gun that was still aimed at Kyla.

“I’m not moving, Spencer.” Ashley sobbed as she positioned herself in front of the younger blonde better, ready to shield her from whatever was coming. But Ashley wasn’t looking at Spencer, too concerned with the knife and gun in Marie’s hands. Spencer was doing her best to move out from behind Ashley. Maybe she could save both brunettes’ lives if she did. Ashley had a sister and father—a family—it’s what Ashley had always wanted. She knew that the brunette would have someone to take care of her. Her life would be a small price to pay if it kept Ashley safe.

    1. DUDE. I checked this site obsessively all damn day yesterday! Nice ending, super epic. I like that it was 31 days too. SHIT that was awesome. New story soon mk? My 2 suggestions are as follows: not a year long and ummm more sex. KTHXBYE!

    2. I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.

    3. PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
