“And why kill J.B.? Huh? What did he do wrong?” Spencer asked, hoping to get Marie distracted onto another tangent so she could free herself.
“Well, he was awfully nosey and always in the way. I was able to control Arthur with the drugs I stole from the hospital so it was more a matter of opening up the job position so that Arthur would be there and no one else could see what I was doing. It didn’t help that the cook was filthy; always giving into sins of the body. And I heard him speak to you, Ashley, on more than one occasion about pursing Spencer. And I couldn’t have that. She’s your sister now, after all.”
“You’re not my mother! You’re not my family! My father wouldn’t touch you again!” Ashley yelled, snapping out of her daze long enough to scream at the woman. It was all too much, so much to take. Her father was alive? She had a sister? Paula was alive? Her mother’s life was in danger? And what about Lily and Carmen? Did Glen kill them? Where was her father now?
“You are just a child and don’t understand. You’ll understand soon enough.”
“I’m not fucking doing a thing you tell me!”
“Then everyone you care about will die. It’s that simple. I can leave this room and Aiden would be dead in just under an hour. I know all about your fight with him and how he’s been neglecting you. He doesn’t deserve you as a friend, Ashley.”
“If you touch him I’ll-”
“There’s nothing you can do. Kyla will be eradicated, naturally; she knows too much and I don’t want a bastard in my family. And of course…there’s always Spencer.” Marie drawled out as she raised her gun at Ashley while fishing something out of the pocket of her pink scrubs that were covered in smiling bears. It was a gross juxtaposition to Marie’s own smile.
The hilt of the dagger winked at Ashley and effectively made her blood run cold. Again, Marie smiled, her eyes on Spencer, as she rotated the knife in her hand.
“Don’t you fucking look at her!” Ashley screamed, pulling Spencer behind her as she struggled to get to her feet.

DUDE. I checked this site obsessively all damn day yesterday! Nice ending, super epic. I like that it was 31 days too. SHIT that was awesome. New story soon mk? My 2 suggestions are as follows: not a year long and ummm more sex. KTHXBYE!
PAGES! Not days. Sorry, the epicness of the story has got me all befuddled.
I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.
PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
