    I’m gonna knock your socks off. You’ll see, oh yeah…

     

    Familiar weight pressed against her as soft hands pushed her gently onto her back, pulling her tank off. Time stopped when their eyes met. Months of anger, pain, and unimaginable heartache vanished, unable to stand against the strength of their love. Dipping her head, Ashley slowly traced the shape of Spencer’s collarbone with her tongue. Eyes darkening, she pulled back, staring unashamedly at her wife’s naked body. Spencer gasped, blushing darkly as her nipple disappeared into her lover’s mouth. Swollen, bruised lips opened, panting into brown curls as Ashley’s fingers tenderly entered her. Pushing her head hard against the pillow, Spencer arched against her wife’s thrusting hand. Toes curling as flames licked hotly at her flushed flesh, Spencer plunged headlong into her release, screaming when the fire finally consumed her writhing body.

     

    Warm, wetness surprised her eyes open. Ashley pushed her face into her wife’s neck, sobbing. “God…I was so afraid…” Working her hand into Ashley’s damp, tangled curls, Spencer pulled her closer tasting each falling drop. Moving slowly, she slid out from under the smaller woman, gently maneuvering her onto her back. Ashley smiled through her tears when Spencer straddled her. Soft lips skimmed along the surface her skin, tickling. A silky, golden curtain cut them off from everything else. Spencer hovered staring into her wife’s eyes. “I’m ready.”

    Spencer bent, brushing Ashley’s curls back before softly kissing her forehead. She lingered, unable to pull away from her unconscious wife. Spencer laid her head down on Ashley’s lap, her face crumbling. Covering her mouth with her hand, she began sobbing quietly. Then door’s opening went unnoticed as she continued to cry softly. Her mother’s hands startled her. “Baby, shh…” Paula pulled her daughter’s shaking body to her own, gently rubbing her back. Both women turned to the door when it opened again. “Dr. Carlin.” Paula smiled, returning the other doctor’s greeting. “Everything went very, very well. We were able to retrieve twenty-one eggs.” Dr. Roberts examined Ashley for a moment before heading back towards the door, smiling warmly. “She’ll be awake in a few minutes…we’ll watch her for the next couple of hours, but you should be able to take her home soon.” Paula kissed Spencer’s cheek, her eyes brimming as her daughter met her gaze.

    1. Past Story Explanation:I’m commenting to hopefully, help those who still do not understand what is going on. In this section we see that Spencer is beginning to get over her depression, but Ashley is scared and very worried about her wife. She decides to take matters into her own hands and tells Clay and Chelsea (without informing Spencer) that they will watch Lei while they go out of town for the weekend. During this time with the baby, Spencer realizes that she still wants to try to have childen…even if she can’t do it exactly the way she wants. In previous chapters, Ashley mentions that she has been undergoing fertility treatments. Basically, she is being given medicine to increase production of her eggs. In one of the past scenes in this section we see that they were able to retrieve several from her body. Spencer is unable to produce eggs on her own, so she has one of Ashley’s implanted in her and well…you get the rest. Hopefully, that clears things up. I started to add the scene where Spencer was implanted, but I couldn’t quite get it right in my head…I guess in retrospect, that might have made things much easier to understand….sorry.Current Story Explanation:Ashley was forcibly removed from the operating room where Spencer is still being worked with. She is not dead. They just needed Ashley to leave so that they could concentrate on her wife. Keep in mind that in the current day story only a few minutes have passed. Ashley and Sara have just left Spencer and are walking back towards the waiting room.

    3. Well I am not sure if you want to hear my thoughts on this but I can’t help but tell you. You truly are an amazing artist and I want to thank you for sharing your talents. I loved the fact that Spence is showing such courage and love to have a child, that is special in it’s own right. I love the fact that Ashley was able to take her out of her depression by showing her that she is there for her and she is so willing to be a mom right beside her. T you are amazing and my feeling for you will never change. Thank you for sharing with all of us your love for writing. You will always be incrediable to me! Thank you!

    21. I totally understand what’s going on. I love it when you update. This is heartbreaking. I’m too sad for words after reading this. The song kinda worries me because I think it foreshadows something I’m terrified to read. If if it does I might just die. So kill me if you want. Anyway loved it update soon.
