Chapter 137 Walking into the house as a family was very emotional to both of them. They walks in, Bette carrying the boys. Tina in front with the diaper bag. They stopped in the living room, suddenly not knowing what to do. They had never had babies before, so they didn’t know exactly what to do. They look at each other with questionable looks. “Is it time for one of their naps?” Bette asks. “No not yet. It’s another two hours until that.” Tina says after checking her watch. “Okay, well, I’m hungry, are you hungry?” Bette asks Tina. “Yeah, I am. Why don’t we put these two in the bouncers.” Tina says. “Yeah.” Bette agrees. Bette sets the boys onto the dining room table, so Tina could lift on of them out without bending down. Then she walks into the nursery and gets the bouncers. Tina was sitting down and holding Noah. “Why do you always take Noah?” Bette asks smiling. “I don’t know. I think it’s because he’s so small compared to Daniel. Something inside me tells me to keep an eye on him.” Tina says and looks down on Noah. “He’s okay T. You should connect to Daniel to. Give them the same amount of time.” Bette says. “Yeah, I will.” Tina replies and looks up at Bette. Bette sets down the bouncers and then proceeds to pick up Daniel. “Hi there little man.” Bette says and starts walking around. Tina stands up and follows. They are showing the house to the new family members. “So here’s our living room, where we do our. Living.” Bette says, she doesn’t come up with anything. “And over here, where you’ve already been is the dining room, and this is where we eat. Over here is the kitchen, it is where we cook our meals, and also eat sometimes.” Bette says softly, Tina follows closely so Noah can hear Bette too. “Want to see your bedroom?” She asks looking from Daniel to Noah. “I think they want to.” Tina replies smiling. “Okay, let’s go then.” Bette says and walks down the hallway and into their room. “Here it is. i knew it..it was everything going sooo good…please dont let Bette think like this cuz the bond and the love she have for those babies are more important than blood she is their mother and noone cant take that from her..dont go there Lauren we have eyes on you..lol..cant wait for more thanks :o)
Lauren…that was a lovely chapter. It’s natural for Bette to feel like that, but she must realize that the love and bond she’s developing with the twins far out weighs blood ties. She is their mother through and true. Please continue.

I understand Bette’s felling and they are only natural. Maybe the boy will take on charateristics that are purly Bette as they grow up. They may look like Tina but be the walking imbodyment of Bette.
Really great chapter and you have Bette’s feelings down to a T (no pun intended!). I think so many women feel that way or have felt that way about their unborn child. It’s something that straight couples never think about. It’s so sad. But I think Bette can overcome it with Tina’s help.

I can understand why Bette is thinking like that….it’s only natural, but she just have think of all the ways she can have influene in raising the boys. She can make both in to 2 little champions :o))
