“And you.” Tina adds, leaning down and kiss Noah on his little forehead. Tina looks up at Bette and leans in for a kiss. “I can’t believe they are finally here.” Tina says and looks down at their babies again in amazement.
“When is their next eating time?” Bette asks.
“Soon. Why don’t we put them in the bouncers and then eat something. Then we’ll feed them.” Tina says.
“You’ll feed them.” Bette says softly.
“Bette we’ll both feed them. Just get them through these first months and then I will start to pump, that way you’ll be able to feed them too.” Tina says.
“Yeah.” Bette replies.
“Right now we have to feed ourselves.” Tina says and smiles.
“Yep, let’s get the boys down.” Bette says and walks back into the dining room and put Daniel into his new bouncer. Tina places Noah into the other one. They are placed on the table. Bette lifts up Daniels bouncer and carries him over to the kitchen table. Then she takes Noah to the table too. This was they can watch them closely.
“You, mommy are going to sit down right there.” Bette says and guides Tina down on a chair next to the babies.
“Babe, I can stand and help you with the food.” Tina says and reluctantly sits down.
“No, I’m doing it, you’ll sit there and relax and watch over our little angels.” Bette says and leans down and kiss her. “It’s an order.” She adds with a grin.
He walks the few steps to the kitchen and starts looking into the fridge.
“Hmm, what do you want?” She asks with her head into the fridge.
Tina smiles.
“How about just some slices of bread with jam or cheese. My family is arriving soon, we have to get something properly to eat then.” Tina replies.
“Yeah, I guess.” Bette says and takes out the jam and the cheese. She then slices up the bread and took out two plates and two knives and brought it to the table. She sit down. They eat and watch the boys as they lay and make gurgling sounds.
“They are so cute.” Bette says after a few moments.
“Yeah they are.” Tina agrees and smiles.
They finish eating and then it’s time for the boys to eat.

i knew it..it was everything going sooo good…please dont let Bette think like this cuz the bond and the love she have for those babies are more important than blood she is their mother and noone cant take that from her..dont go there Lauren we have eyes on you..lol..cant wait for more thanks :o)
Lauren…that was a lovely chapter. It’s natural for Bette to feel like that, but she must realize that the love and bond she’s developing with the twins far out weighs blood ties. She is their mother through and true. Please continue.

I understand Bette’s felling and they are only natural. Maybe the boy will take on charateristics that are purly Bette as they grow up. They may look like Tina but be the walking imbodyment of Bette.
Really great chapter and you have Bette’s feelings down to a T (no pun intended!). I think so many women feel that way or have felt that way about their unborn child. It’s something that straight couples never think about. It’s so sad. But I think Bette can overcome it with Tina’s help.

I can understand why Bette is thinking like that….it’s only natural, but she just have think of all the ways she can have influene in raising the boys. She can make both in to 2 little champions :o))
