    A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 137

Tina blushes a little and then looks up at Bette, who smiles down at her. Tina sees something in Bette’s eyes that she hasn’t seen yet. She makes an mental note to ask her about it later. Daniel seems to be finished. She closes her bra again and lowers the shirt.

“Babe, could you take him, while I start the other one.” She says and let’s out a little laugh.

“Sure.” Bette says and walks over and lifts him up. Tina takes Noah from Jack and place him on the other breast. And does the same there with unhooking the bra cup.

Noah takes the breast after a few seconds.

“Could I hold him?” Chris asks Bette.

Bette smiles and give Daniel over to him.

“And this is Daniel, right?” He asks Bette, just to make sure.

“Yeah, that is Daniel. Daniel is the biggest and Noah the smallest.

“Okay.” Chris replies. Bette walks over to Lauren who is seated in one of the chairs with her baby Zach.

“Hey, so how are you holding up with a new baby?” Bette asks as she takes a seat on the table in front of Lauren.

“It’s tiring, but I love it.” Lauren replies.

Jason is running around and he stops in front Tina and then looks at his father holding Daniel.

“Dad, why are there two babies?” Jason asks suddenly.

“They are twins, that means they are brothers and they are born at the same time.” Chris replies, hoping that would be answer enough. And luckily for him, it was.

“You bro, that was a great explanation.” Tina says and lets out a small laugh.

“Yeah, thank God it worked.” He replies smiling.

After an hour Tina and Bette excused them selves from the group and walked with the babies into the nursery. It was time for their nap.

Tina walks in last and closes the door behind her. Bette started to change Noah on the changing table. Put on a new diaper and his sleeping clothes.

Tina sat down in the rocker.

    “Babe?” She says softly.

    “Yeah?” Bette replies.

“Earlier when dad commented that the babies looked like me” She starts.

    “Yeah.” Bette replies.

“I saw something in your eyes. Care to share with me?” Tina asks.

Bette stayed silent for a little while.

“Babe?” Tina asks again. She stands up and places Daniel in the crib and walks up beside Bette. She softly touches Bette’s back. “Please talk to me.” Tina says.

Bette continue to change Noah. After a few moments she looks up at Tina.

“They do look like you. They will never look like me.” Bette says as a tear falls down her cheek.

    1. i knew it..it was everything going sooo good…please dont let Bette think like this cuz the bond and the love she have for those babies are more important than blood she is their mother and noone cant take that from her..dont go there Lauren we have eyes on you..lol..cant wait for more thanks :o)

    2. Lauren…that was a lovely chapter. It’s natural for Bette to feel like that, but she must realize that the love and bond she’s developing with the twins far out weighs blood ties. She is their mother through and true. Please continue.

    3. I understand Bette’s felling and they are only natural. Maybe the boy will take on charateristics that are purly Bette as they grow up. They may look like Tina but be the walking imbodyment of Bette.

    4. Really great chapter and you have Bette’s feelings down to a T (no pun intended!). I think so many women feel that way or have felt that way about their unborn child. It’s something that straight couples never think about. It’s so sad. But I think Bette can overcome it with Tina’s help.

    5. very touching and nice chapter. Yeah poor Bete but this cant stop her for loving the twins.. its love and care no need a blodd from here as long as she love her new family unconditionally

    6. I can understand why Bette is thinking like that….it’s only natural, but she just have think of all the ways she can have influene in raising the boys. She can make both in to 2 little champions :o))
