“You go over to the sofa and get comfortable, I’ll bring them over.” Bette says and stands up. Tina walks over to the sofa and takes a seat.
Bette brings the boys over and place the bouncers on the floor and then she lifts up Daniel and lay him carefully into Tina’s waiting arms. Tina lift up her shirt and unhook the breastfeeding bra. And Daniel latch on right away. Tina looks down and smile.
Noah sensing that his brother is being held, starts to cry. He also wants to get up.
Bette lifts him up and holds him, facing his brother and his mother.
“They really can sense each other. There is a special bond between twins.” Bette says.
“Yeah, I wonder what it will be like when they get older.” Tina says and smiles.
“Hmm” Bette replies and looks down on Noah and smiles.
Just then there is a knock on the door.
“You stay there and feed him. They coming isn’t interrupting anything okay?” Bette says.
“Yes mommy.” Tina replies with a little grin.
Bette stands up with Noah in her arms and walks over to the door and opens up. There is all of them. Lauren, Chris, Jason, the new baby (Zachary), Jack and Sarah.
“Hey you.” Bette says and smiles.
“Hi, and congratulations.” Chris says and leans in for a hug. And then he looks down on little Noah. “And who is this?” He asks in a soft voice.
“This is Noah Kennard Porter.” Bette says with pride. “And Daniel is being fed by Tina now. Come on inside.” Bette says. They all step inside and walks into the living room where they see Tina sitting with Daniel.
“Hey guys.” Tina says and smiles up at her family. She looks up at her father and smiles. She nods for him to join her. He carefully sit down next to Tina. He smiles at Daniel sucking like a little champion. Bette walks over and lower Noah into his arms.
He looks down at him and then over at Daniel.
“They really look alike don’t they.” He says.
“Yeah they do.” Tina replies.
“They are beautiful Tina. They have your beauty and especially your nose from when you were a baby.” Jack says.

i knew it..it was everything going sooo good…please dont let Bette think like this cuz the bond and the love she have for those babies are more important than blood she is their mother and noone cant take that from her..dont go there Lauren we have eyes on you..lol..cant wait for more thanks :o)
Lauren…that was a lovely chapter. It’s natural for Bette to feel like that, but she must realize that the love and bond she’s developing with the twins far out weighs blood ties. She is their mother through and true. Please continue.

I understand Bette’s felling and they are only natural. Maybe the boy will take on charateristics that are purly Bette as they grow up. They may look like Tina but be the walking imbodyment of Bette.
Really great chapter and you have Bette’s feelings down to a T (no pun intended!). I think so many women feel that way or have felt that way about their unborn child. It’s something that straight couples never think about. It’s so sad. But I think Bette can overcome it with Tina’s help.

I can understand why Bette is thinking like that….it’s only natural, but she just have think of all the ways she can have influene in raising the boys. She can make both in to 2 little champions :o))
