Chapter 16
A couple Weeks Later……
“Mom I can’t find my black pants.” Gillian said.
“Did you check the stuff from the cleaners?” Tina asked from her office.
“Where is it?” Gillian asked.
“Check my closet.” Tina said. Tina was sitting at her desk working.
“Find them.” Gillian said standing in the door way to the office.
“Good. How’s the packing going?” Tina asked.
“This is the last thing I needed to pack.” Gillian said.
“I am going to miss you.” Tina said. Gillian looked at her.
“No you won’t. You and Bette will have the house to your selves finally.” Gillian said.
“No She’s going to New York for business.” Tina said. Gillian walked in and sat one the side of Tina’s desk.
“Can I ask you something?” Gillian asked.
“Sure.” Tina said.
“Did I do something?” Gillian asked.
“What are you talking about?” Tina asked.
“It just seemed that you and Bette were getting along great and then, she just disappeared. I know that you guys still talk all the time and go out for dinner or lunch everyday but…” Gillian said.
“It has nothing to do with you I promise. We were moving super fast and we just decided that it would be better for everyone if we slowed down.” Tina said.
“It’s because of me.” Gillian said.
“No it’s not. Bette has never dated anyone with a kid before and she wants and needs your approval. She doesn’t want to do anything to make you not like her.” Tina said.
“I don’t understand.” Gillian said.
“It’s complicated. We are just trying to get know each other with out anything else.” Tina said.
“You mean sex.” Gillian said. Tina’s heart stopped with shock.
“Yes. Sex.” Tina said.
“I am not a little kid anymore. I know that’s what you guys want.” Gillian said.
“How do you know that?” Tina asked.
“I can see it in you. You change. That’s a good thing.” Gillian said.

love this story… so gal you didn’t make helena go crazy when she first met bette… what will gillian do now… i hope she talks to her… and doesn’t run away… too bad tina didn’t fly to NY to surprise bett… please continue soon

okay im slow when it said surprise and i thought that when tina said b in n.y.i thought tina was surprising bette in n.y. oh well its a chance for gillian/bette to talk without mommy around.p.p.s. charm we love it

Love the twist of this story. It is so nice to see Bette and Tina communicating and getting to know one other. Although, I know the drama will come!!!
So now that Gillian has spied Bette will she now hang with the older generation and keep her eye on Bette? Does the job offer entail moving? Can’t have that if the girls can’t be together.

wow Gillian is a bit young at 14 to hang out with Helena and is her father sure Tina wouldn’t mind or did Helena make that stuff up…and what is Bette gonna say about it????
