    A Surprise

     

    “What are you going to do now?” Gillian asked.

     

    “Mummy said I could run the LA office.” Helena said.

     

    “That would be cool.” Gillian said.

     

    “Why?” Helena said. She thought she knew the answer, but wanted to hear it anyway.

     

    “Because it would be cool to have my big sister around more.” Gillian said.

     

    “Yes that would be cool.” Helena said. Helena had wasn’t to sure about gaining a sister and a little one at that but she and Gillian had really hit it off.

     

    “So who is this party for tonight. I thought the party wasn’t until tomorrow after the opening.” Gillian said.

     

    “One of Mummy’s favorite Gallery owners.” Helena said.

     

    “What’s her name?” Gillian asked.

     

    “I don’t know but Mummy is going to offer her the job for curator of her collection. The dinner party is for her. The party tonight is still going to happen, but we will be able to sneak away from it if you want.” Helena said.

     

    “You are going to use me as an excuse again aren’t you?” Gillian said.

     

    “If you let me. You’ll see tonight. It’s just a bunch of Mummy’s stuffy art world friends and tomorrow there will be even more.” Helena said.

     

    “So you don’t want to follow in Peggy’s footsteps?” Gillian asked.

     

    “No. Don’t get me wrong I love the arts I just think that some of the money could be spent on things that benefit people who need it to survive.” Helena said.

     

    “I agree. Thank God where here.” Gillian said.

     

     

    Meanwhile…..

     

    “Hi Babe.” Tina said.

     

    “Hey Honey. What’s up?” Bette asked she was trying to decide what to wear.

     

    “Nothing I just missed you.” Tina said.

     

    “Oh I miss you too. I wish you were here with me.” Bette said.

     

    “And why is that?” Tina asked.

     

    “Besides from the obvious, I can’t decide what to wear.” Bette said.

     

    “Hmm. Did you bring that white power suit you got the other day?” Tina asked.

     

    “Yes.” Bette said.

    8. Love the twist of this story. It is so nice to see Bette and Tina communicating and getting to know one other. Although, I know the drama will come!!!

    9. So now that Gillian has spied Bette will she now hang with the older generation and keep her eye on Bette? Does the job offer entail moving? Can’t have that if the girls can’t be together.

    11. wow Gillian is a bit young at 14 to hang out with Helena and is her father sure Tina wouldn’t mind or did Helena make that stuff up…and what is Bette gonna say about it???? Did Bette know she was going to T’s exs place??? Seems a bit strange that she didn’t cotton on…anywayz enjoying this and look forward to the next instalment, Thanks. Happy New Year.
