American Werewolves in London: Snogging Beneath the Moon

Helena snickered. “Do you always act like this when you get laid?”

“Nope.” Bette replied with a grin. “Only when I get to have a giant orgasm at the hands of a beautiful woman.”

Helena thought that over. “Am I one of many beautiful women who have given you such gifts?”

Bette’s joking nod earned her a tickle.  She giggled as Helena began to wrestle with her, tickling her ribs and playfully biting her neck. Helena burst into laughter when Bette slung her, easily, into her arms.

“This is ridiculous, people will see.” Helena said happily.  She wrapped her arms around Bette’s neck, still biting at it.

“What are you doing dear?” Bette’s tone was curious, rather than concerned.

“Just testing the whole vampire thing.” Helena joked. “Now put me down.”

An hour later, they arrived at the spot Tina directed them to. They made rather good time, neither tiring, both finding that their bodies were stronger than ever.

Bette dug in the earth near the side of the highway, until she found what she was looking for.  An old canvas duffle bag, encased in layers of plastic, lay beside a crossbow in a large metal box.

“Odd duck that Tina…” Bette said with a shrug. “I’m sure we won’t look to conspicuous with these on our person.”

Helena shook her head worridly, watching the traffic moving by. “I suppose we don’t have a choice. If any of those things find us, we might be in for trouble. Let’s just hurry and find who we need to find.”

    Meanwhile…

    I’m going nowhere

    Somebody help me…

    I’m staying aliiiiiiiiive

The Bee Gees played quietly inside the dark Sedan. Four somber people, all dressed in black with stylish D&G sunglasses, sat in wait.

The hybrid and her purer and more worthy vampire lover, would be soon arriving.

Devon was the leader of this vampire clan.  Nearly three hundred years after his turning—at the hands of the devil Cook, before the bastard launched his ships of death across the globe—Devon still searched for some kind of meaning.

He did not approve of this hybrid.  Tina Kennard’s plans, her experiments, soiled the bloodlines as far as he was concerned.

    1. Damn right the ‘disco’ Bee Gees were annoying. Their earlier incarnations weren’t so bad, but by then they sounded like chimps on speed. (BTW, the earliest form of disco had a lot more to do with soul and funk than the pop crap we now know under that name.) So Bette’s hybrid (how green was my wolfie) and Jenny is just as universally reviled as ever. But she doesn’t seem to have any regrets now that she’s not crumbling. Nor many on Helena’s part, either. As yet, but Tina seems to, so what’s her deal? Glad you’re not bailing on this one, but you know I have the hunger for PT in my blood. Oww, owww, owwwwooooh!

    2. Ok hb, let me get this straight, pardon the expression. Bette here is a werewolf and Helena a new vampire, and you don’t want to write PT cos of the bad things you have done to B and H THERE??? Yer breaking my heart hb…you be making my Belena undead killers and what have you!May I recommend diet pepsi instead as a fine beverage? I would like to know how funny knows what chimps on speed sound like..what kinda parties SHE been going to? I LIKE the Bee Gees, at least the pre disco stuff… I shall tolerate no maligning!! Going now to hide away from all you bloodthirsty undead prowling howling critters…

    3. i’m writing PT tonite…but i’m feeling badly cuz bad bad things have happened in the chapter i’m writing…it’s turning into the saddest thing since xena died for the 100th and final time.

    4. Praise be, HB! (ha, that rhymes!) Glad to hear PT is back in the pipeline. Hope you get it out tonight as I really should devote tomorrow to studying for a seriously hairy test tomorrow night. But with the hunger in my blood unsatisfied for so long I may not be able to resist whenever it shows up. May it be soon. And you’re not scaring me with your somber pronouncments regarding Xena’s multideaths. YOU seem to have survived them all, just like the rest of us. So bring it on! And susannah, I’ve certainly seen the effects of speed on humans, and between old Tarzan movies and nature programs I certainly know what chimp shrieks sound like, so it only takes a little imagination to put the two together. It’s a thought that makes me want to run away. BTW, did you know the eldest Bee Gee was born in the same miniscule nation my father’s antecedents were shunned away from? Rumor has it they were horse theives. Just a fun fact for you.

    5. ok, an immortal scotswoman shall be thrown in for madcapper. i looooove that ‘can’t die cept for a beheading’ sh**! hehe, poooor xena. and NO i did NOT survive that dissapointment! *kicks universal’s a** for ruining her favorite lesbo franchise…pt is stalled..soon though…lol

    6. Hello HB, I am so happy that you are going to bring us more of this incredibly entertaining and wickedly diverse story. You are certainly throwing in everything including the kitchen sink and as I read this story (as well as your other amazing adventures) I can feel the insane amount of fun you must be having bringing everything together. Your creativity is so amazing and such an inspiration, you Rock my world :P. Sincerely, JC

    7. funnyone, i believe i was singing it over and over one night when you reminded me of its wonderous wonder…other than that song, i don’t listen to the blue oysters. the bee gees were mildly amusing in their disconess, but i guess it was just an opportunity to get some gay vampire action going on. i may even have to write some m/m scene and FREAK everyone out!! PT is going very very slowly…it’s hard to write it when I’ve done such a meanie thing to the two mains…

    8. Hey babe, I got caught up! hehe … I love that whatever the story, Jenny’s still a loose cannon, I am *also* glad that you decided to continue, but oh my, what have you done to PT if it’s as bad as Xena’s 100th death, *cries*
