    Bette had woke up and Tina confronts her about the accident. Does she remember? Kit and Alice visit Bette in the hospital, than say goodbye. Now what lies ahead for Bette&Tina…?

     

    “I love you Bette,” Kit sobbed. “I” she paused as Bette wiped tears from her face.

     

    “No need Kit,” Bette said. “No need, I already know. I love you too.” They kissed and held on for awhile. Then Alice squeezed her hand, she kissed Bette’s forehead and announced it was time to go. They shared a group hug over Bette’s bed and then they were gone.

     

     

    Coming back to the villa was exhilarating for both Bette and Tina. The three days spent in the hospital took precedence over their vacation. It had now made things somewhat different in their relationship and had changed perspective on everything. This was not the outcome either of them could have ever imagined. But here they were setting together in this villa in Italy. Tina comforted by Bette’s wellness and Bette consumed by Tina’s loyalty in her time of need. This common thread weaved them together like a web. They had been through many up and downs, this was no exception to the rule. Whatever it was that drew these women together so many years ago, still bound them together. Love, passion, trust, faith, all of it was relevant. All of it still flowed beneath the surface, but bringing it out was now left up to them solely. The accident had made Tina feel again. It gave her a chance to rethink what love is all about. Unconditional love is at times tested. Adultery is no laughing matter. Can one rise above it? Tina searched her brain for the answer all along, only to find she knew it. She loved Bette with out reason. She loved her for who she was. And who she was, was a human being, not without fault. She watched her as she lay on the bed, her beauty still intoxicating. And Tina knew then she was still in love.

     

    “Can I get you anything B,” Tina called out as she unpacked their things.

     

    “No, I’m good, thanks.”  Bette tried settling in for some rest.

     

    “I thought about making something to eat, you hungry?

     

    “I need to figure out how to prop up this damn pillow,” Bette said, and then giggled at her self.

     

    “I asked if you needed any help.”  Tina went over and put the pillow behind Bette’s head.
